‘De cara al mundo’: international analysis on Onda Madrid

De cara al mundo
The programme addresses the wars in Gaza and Ukraine

‘De cara al mundo’, the Onda Madrid programme directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, provides weekly analysis of global current affairs.

Israel continues its military operations in Gaza as international pressure grows on Benjamin Netanyahu's government to end its attacks.

Netanyahu announces his intention to have US companies distribute humanitarian aid directly to Palestinian families, with the aim of preventing Hamas from manipulating the aid for its own benefit.

Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine continues with Russian President Vladimir Putin threatening to annex part of Sumy and Kharkiv to establish a buffer zone, thus worsening Russian pressure on several battlefronts.

Journalist and correspondent María Senovilla will analyse the situation in ‘De cara al mundo’.

Meanwhile, ‘Cruzada por los Niños’ is promoting the initiative ‘Cuentos infantiles para un mundo mejor’ with the publication of its first book, ‘Shaka el pangolín’, a children's story written by its president, Dr María Díaz de la Cebosa, and illustrated by the talented artist Ekim, Miguel Ángel Díaz.

The book tells the exciting story of a brave pangolin who must fight to survive against poachers who threaten his species in a world facing serious environmental challenges. Through this captivating narrative, the book seeks to raise awareness among young people about the importance of protecting pangolins, an endangered species, and to foster a deep love for nature.

‘Cruzada por los Niños’, founded in 1995 by María Díaz de la Cebosa, has dedicated its efforts to helping, protecting and educating children around the world, as well as fighting for women's rights in disadvantaged areas. The NGO provides comprehensive training, without distinction of any kind, promoting a more promising future for generations to come.

María Díaz de la Cebosa will explain the initiative on the programme ‘De cara al mundo’.

Expert international analyst Lucas Martín will explain the keys to understanding the world on the programme.

As every day, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas. The discussion will focus on the wars in Ukraine and Gaza and the position of the United States.

‘De cara al mundo’, Friday 23 May from 10.05 p.m. to 11 p.m.
