‘De cara al mundo’: international analysis on Onda Madrid

‘De cara al mundo’, the Onda Madrid programme directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, tackles global current affairs every week. 

Madrid hosted the Africa Spain Summit 2025 from 6 to 8 July. The summit was organised by One Africa Forums to further strengthen collaboration at all levels between Africa and Spain.

Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine continues and the United States has announced that it will send more anti-aircraft systems to the Ukrainian government of President Volodimir Zelenski following the latest massive drone attacks by Russia against several cities, particularly Kiev. The White House has announced an important statement for Monday.

Journalist and correspondent María Senovilla will provide the main details on the conflict in Ukrainian territory.  

Meanwhile, the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has not yet been reached due to demands from both sides. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's two-day visit to the White House may have been fruitful, but few details have been released. 

As for the tariffs imposed by the United States, Canada has received a letter from Donald Trump imposing tariffs of 35% on the grounds that the Canadian government is not doing enough to prevent the trafficking of fentanyl to the United States. The European Union is monitoring the situation. 

Expert international analyst Lucas Martín will provide insights into the most relevant issues.
