‘De cara al mundo’: international analysis on Onda Madrid

De cara al mundo
The programme analyses the United States' fight against daesh in Nigeria, the negotiations over the war in Ukraine, the conflict between the United States and Venezuela, and the controversial Epstein case

‘De cara al mundo’, the Onda Madrid programme directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, tackles world news every week.

The United States has launched a fierce attack on Daesh terrorist bases in Nigeria, in coordination with the Nigerian government, in response to the murders of Christians that have taken place in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine continues. A Russian newspaper close to the Kremlin claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin is willing to withdraw from some conquered Ukrainian territories, but considers control of Donbas non-negotiable.

Journalist and correspondent María Senovilla will analyse the key issues in ‘De cara al mundo’.

Meanwhile, the Venezuelan government has released 99 political prisoners in a move aimed at easing tensions with the United States, which continues to exert pressure against drug trafficking.

In addition, nearly a million documents and photos related to the Epstein case have surfaced, which will delay their publication by the Department of Justice. US President Donald Trump claims that the vast majority of politicians involved are Democrats.

Expert international analyst Lucas Martín will analyse the most relevant issues.

As every day, the discussion will feature Atalayar's regular contributors: Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas. The debate will focus on the US offensive against daesh in Nigeria, the war in Ukraine, the crisis between the US and Venezuela, and the Epstein case.

‘De cara al mundo’, Friday 26 December, from 10.05pm to 11pm.
