'De cara al mundo', the programme on Onda Madrid directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, takes a weekly in-depth look at the hottest topics in international current affairs.
The programme will deal with the military considerations of the Russian invasion of Ukraine with the intervention of General Fernando Alejandre. The highest military commander of the Spanish Armed Forces between 2017 and 2020 analyses the conflict in Ukraine from his experience in senior NATO positions. To discuss the situation on the ground in Ukraine, we will be joined by Vitaly Suárez, son of the Spanish businessman Julio Suárez who lives in Ukraine, and Olga Zaginey, a Ukrainian international analyst who is living in Spain.
On the other hand, Javier Blasco, a retired Spanish army intelligence colonel, will talk about the various consequences of the conflict in Ukraine, such as the economic and geopolitical consequences.
The radio programme will also address the Conference on the Future of Europe, with Francisco Aldecoa, President of the European Movement in Spain, as guest speaker, to talk about the European initiative and stance on the sanctions against Russia for the offensive in Ukraine and the problems with energy prices.
To shed more light on these issues, we will be joined by Pedro González and Claudia Luna, regular contributors to Atalayar, under the coordination of Javier Fernández Arribas.
