Marruecos habilita un dispositivo especial de acompañamiento en la vuelta de marroquíes residentes en el extranjero

Morocco has announced the establishment of a special mechanism to accompany Moroccans living abroad who are returning to the Alawi kingdom in the context of the current situation of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and the return to the country for the summer season.
According to an official communiqué from the Royal Cabinet, published by the MAP news agency: "His Majesty King Mohammed VI has given his Highest Instructions to the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity to provide members of the Moroccan community living abroad with a special escort system on board the ships operating the crossing, in order to guarantee them the best conditions for crossing and disembarkation".
This announcement follows the announcement made on Sunday that King Mohammed VI had given orders to all air transport operators, in particular the Royal Air Maroc company, as well as to the various maritime operators, to establish reasonable prices for all Moroccans to return to the North African country, and to guarantee a sufficient number of travel services to allow Moroccan families abroad to return to the country and be reunited with their families and loved ones, especially in the current difficult context of the pandemic.
The aim of this latest measure announced is to facilitate all administrative, customs and health formalities during the crossing, so that the journey, arrival and stay in Morocco are safe, smooth and satisfactory, as reported by the MAP agency.
The other traditional forms of reception and assistance provided by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, in Morocco and abroad, will continue.
According to a statement from the Royal Cabinet, King Mohammed VI also ordered the Embassies and Consulates General of the Kingdom of Morocco abroad to mobilise in the framework of this operation.
Thus, diplomatic and consular representations are called upon to facilitate all consular and administrative formalities required by Moroccan citizens and foreigners wishing to visit Morocco, and to respond effectively to their requests and expectations, according to the official note released by the MAP agency.
