Salou strengthens its presence in Madrid

The campaign, which will last six weeks, will promote the image of the destination to thousands of visitors and residents who travel daily to the main points of interest in the Spanish capital.

The bus route starts in the Salamanca district and continues along Paseo de la Castellana to Santiago Bernabéu. It then returns along Calle Serrano, passes through Grande Vía and Princesa, stops at the Temple of Debod, the Royal Palace, and the Latina district, before returning along Ronda de Segovia and Toledo, ending at Plaza de Neptuno.

The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, attended the inaugural trip of the campaign and highlighted the strategic importance of this action:

"With this campaign, which we are launching today, in collaboration with this operator, we are strengthening Salou's presence in the Madrid market, a strategic market of great interest to us. We are talking about an area of more than seven million people, with a high per capita income and a profile of local tourism that fits perfectly with the model of Salou that we are promoting."

Granados stressed that the initiative contributes to consolidating the municipality's positioning with a clear and recognizable image:

“This action allows us to further consolidate Salou's positioning as a leading destination and to do so with a powerful image and a clear slogan: ‘Salou, Playa Larga, the best beach in Spain 2025’, according to the results of a survey of readers of the newspaper 20 minutos.”

During January, a key period for travel inspiration and planning, the campaign projects a spectacular image of Playa Larga, conveying values such as nature, spaciousness, quality, and well-being. In this way, Salou reinforces its appeal as a year-round destination and is committed to quality, accessible, and sustainable tourism.
