The twelfth edition of the Digital Aviation Journalism Awards has been launched
Aviacióndigital, a reference media in the aeronautical sector and recent winner of the CLABE Award for Journalistic Innovation, announces its twelfth edition of the Journalism Awards on aviation and aeronautical information in Spanish. The aim of these awards is to promote interest among media professionals and students in the dissemination of aeronautical journalism with quality content.
All journalists and journalism students with works published in any media in Spain and in its different formats (press, radio, television, digital media, agencies, podcasts, etc.) during the years 2020 and 2021 can participate. Those interested in participating should send their work by email to premioperiodismo@aviaciondigital.com before 7 January 2022.
The jury will be made up of distinguished journalists and professionals from the world of communication, who will be in charge of making an initial selection of the most relevant works that are eligible for the award.
Prizes will be awarded in three categories, one aimed at information professionals, another aimed at rewarding the work presented by university students, and a special mention to recognise the professional career of a journalist specialising in the aeronautical and aviation sector.
The prize for news professionals is worth 6,000 euros (*) and the prize for journalism students is a drone and the corresponding official drone operator course.
On this occasion, the competition will be sponsored by aeronautical companies such as Enaire, Iberia, Air Nostrum, COIAE, Qualiflight, Soluciona.
As usual, before the award ceremony, the State of Aviation Debate will be held, which on this occasion will be dedicated to the sustainability of the aviation sector, led by the editor of aviacióndigital.com Eduardo Gavilán, who also encourages all students and future professionals in the world of communication to participate in this competition as an initiative to promote quality specialised aeronautical information.
Aviacióndigital, the first internet media in Spanish specialised in this sector and organiser of the Aviation Journalism Award, is also a reference media in the aeronautical sector since 2000, which has not ceased to incorporate different audiovisual formats to its value proposition for the benefit of its audience and of truthful, accessible and complete information.
Distinguished with the CLABE Award for Journalistic Innovation, Aviación Digital takes off seeking to be a pioneer in the transmission of information through the different channels that allow its maximum dissemination. It is currently broadcast in streaming, with audiovisual programmes, associated podcasts, weekly synopses and on the Aviación Digital TV channel with the live programme "Diez Más 1". All the information is published simultaneously and in real time on Social Networks: YouTube, Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. The Official College of Aeronautical Engineers (COIAE) aims to regulate the practice of the profession of Aeronautical Engineering in free competition, to represent it exclusively, to defend the professional interests of its members and to advise society and the public authorities on the development of the Spanish aeronautical sector.
