Barca fly at the Bernabeu against a Mbappé incapable of scoring goals

Mbappé will not forget his first Clasico. Barça arrived at the Bernabéu after thrashing Bayern Munich and Real Madrid came from behind to beat Dortmund on another magical night. But this Barça under Flick is a different team, the facelift in just a few months is total and it can be said that it aspires to everything after a long journey in the desert. 

This is the Clásico that LaLiga wants. Full of stars and with two teams at the highest level. That's why the Catalan side have had no problem signing the likes of Lewandowski and Dani Olmo when they had no money and everyone expected a sanction for their past spending sprees.

The fact is that Real Madrid stood up to Barça in the first half. Mbappé had chances, but he had five offsides in the first half. Flick's famous advanced defence was not worked by Ancelotti and his strikers did not exploit their pace because their runs were late and poor. Real Madrid needed a striker and the Frenchman arrived, who is not a striker but has a goal. Vinicius has been pulling the strings this season since Benzema's departure, but they don't even have Joselu to make the team play anything else because they know they have a 9 up top. 

Barça fly when they attack. The speed at which they play with youngsters who are under 20 years old and have a lot of quality makes their opponents suffer because the game is a race to the bottom where they have everything to lose. Casadó or Balde are fixed, Lamine already was, as well as Fermín or Pedri. They are youngsters from the Masia to whom Xavi gave confidence and whom Hansi Flick has put in their place so that they can play a dizzying brand of football.

In the second half Barcelona broke the game open after a childish mistake by Militao which Casadó took advantage of to pass a perfect pass to Lewandowski who shot into the net from the edge of the area. Militao, Rüdiger and Lucas could only look on and wonder what was wrong with that defence that was leaking on all flanks. 

Lewandowski had two more chances. But it was Raphinha and Lamine Yamal who rounded off a game that could have gone to five goals if they had wanted to because this Barça don't know how to play at anything other than scoring goals until the end of the game. 

The Clásico leaves Barça in the lead with 6 points more than Real Madrid. There is still a long way to go in La Liga, but this team should not lose the title unless there is a physical debacle in the second half of the season. Real Madrid will be left very hurt and Mbappé is under more pressure because what he failed to do in the Clasico cannot be repeated and they will be waiting for him. Ancelotti has to find an eleven where Bellingham, Vinicius and Mbappé fit in, even if that means giving Modric back the midfield and Rodrygo is that player who helps the rest to give their all. 

Barça are great again four years on. Bayern and Real Madrid have been their most desired prey and now they can aspire to everything.
