Chess, the protagonist of a documentary in collaboration with the Three Cultures Foundation and Loyola University

The Three Cultures Foundation of the Mediterranean, in collaboration with Loyola University, is hosting a programme of activities this Thursday, 2nd December, in which they are highlighting the practice of chess. This programme includes, on the one hand, a simultaneous chess game, in which different types of games will be played together with the possibility of practising it in the company of experts and masters. And, on the other hand, it includes the presentation of the documentary project 'The Garden of Forking Paths', which is precisely based on the world of chess and raises the existing parallels and reflections between the decisions that are taken and the intricacies and decisions that are taken on the chessboard. After the presentation of the teaser, attendees will be able to share a chat with the main characters and the film's team. 

The Garden of Forking Paths', a production by ImaginaSon Audiovisual Media co-directed by Carlos Godot and Juan Carlos Guerra-Librero, has a team of outstanding professionals such as the photographer Pepe Nieto and the composer and sound designer Francisco Cuadrado. 

Loyola University and the Three Cultures Foundation are collaborating in this project given the value of this game as a symbol of coexistence and cultural exchange, due to the link between the practice of chess and the Arab world, and after the success of different chess tournaments organised with young people in past editions and held at the headquarters of the Foundation.
