Emilio Butragueño presents the "clinics" that the Real Madrid Foundation will hold in Jerusalem

Real Madrid, represented by its Director of Institutional Relations, Emilio Butragueño, held an emotional event in Israel's capital, Jerusalem, in collaboration with the Royal Jerusalem Football Club and the Israeli Ministry of Regional Cooperation. The third edition of the inspirational educational clinics of the prestigious Real Madrid Foundation, which will run until 18 August, was presented.
The aim of these clinics is to provide opportunities for more than 450 children from Israel and the Middle East, who will receive scholarships to train football and acquire fundamental values, under the guidance of talented coaches from the Real Madrid Foundation. The Real Madrid Foundation's educational clinics in Jerusalem began in 2019 and, by the end of this summer, nearly 6,000 young people will have participated in the programme.
The Minister-Counsellor of the Israeli Embassy in Spain, Dan Poraz, expressed the importance of sport, especially football, as a bridge between cultures, as it is a common and universal language, and represents a valuable tool for education in values and the promotion of peace. As well as highlighting the creation of a space in which young Israelis, Palestinians, Moroccans, Jordanians and young people from various Arab countries, participate in activities together, as a way to integrate and cooperate.
The Israeli Embassy seeks to be part of this initiative that promotes sport, education in values and peace in Jerusalem, where diversity becomes a strength and football a powerful vehicle to unite hearts and minds.
