The revolution is coming... in Morocco

Mario Benedetti, Uruguayan poet, in his masterpiece "Defence of Joy", says:
"Defend joy as a trench
defend it from scandal and routine
from misery and the wretched...".
Don't be hasty... What revolution are we talking about? The revolution of the peoples, the revolution of the workers and peasants, the revolution of the middle classes, the revolution of the marginalised regions, the revolution of the hungry, the revolution of the rich, the revolution of the army and the security forces...? Don't be in a hurry... Everything is possible... As Edgar Morin, author of numerous theories, including "complex thinking", says, it is not the beginning that is important, but the end. Everything is possible, yes, everything is possible... If you read this article, you will understand why everything is possible... Politics is the art of the possible, but it is also an art of the impossible...
What I know is that the workers' revolution happened in Tsarist Russia in 1917, and the revolution of the workers and peasants, especially the peasants, happened in China in 1948. As for the other revolutions in the world, their impacts were limited or repressed. I also know that capitalism learned to defend its rights and crushed any legitimate rights.
Thus, world capitalism managed to collapse the socialist camp (there is a debate on this subject) and put an end to the existence of powerful communist parties, and democratic socialist parties... until capitalism imposed its current model based on neoliberalism. (I know there is a fruitful debate on all these subjects, so I urge those interested, especially young people, to take an interest in them).
Back to Morocco, the subject of our article: Are there really signs of a revolution to come? Yes and no... Before answering this delicate question, it is necessary to remember that there are those who cling to the idea of the workers' revolution, and there are also those who cling to the workers' and peasants' revolution....
There is also a "left" theory that speaks of the impossibility, today, of carrying out a revolution as at the beginning of the 20th century, and, instead, a citizens' revolution can be carried out through elections.
Are there precursory signs of a revolution to come... in Morocco? In my opinion, I will not hide from you that I am about 66 years old and throughout my life I have said that the precursory signs of revolution are yet to come. I have never given up hope, let me tell you a story that had a great impact on me. It was in 1990, I was a young "revolutionary" who joined the socialist party (USFP).
South Africa was then ruled by the apartheid regime, Nelson Mandela had been in prison for more than 27 years, and there was talk in Morocco about the involvement of the "Blacks" in the repression of the Black demonstrations, and nobody expected his release. And suddenly, the oldest prisoner in the world (Mandela) was released and the rest you know. Today, South Africa has become just another country, with conflicts and tensions.
The important thing about all this is that the impossible is not in my vocabulary, everything is possible. This is what I learned from this eloquent lesson. There are always signs of a pre-revolutionary phase, but one cannot speculate on the arrival of revolution or insurrection, as has been the case since Moroccan independence. In order not to prolong the discussion in this area, I will limit myself to mentioning two events that are still remembered, the insurrection of 23 March 1965 and the movement of 20 February 2011.
There are many indicators about the next revolution, everyone has their own theory about it. Some people think that all this is pure fantasy, and they are entitled to think so. Others agree with me, but with differences in orientation and premises. The important thing, as John Stuart Mill said, is that "the liberty of one ends where the liberty of others begins".... What is essential is freedom of opinion and expression, as well as respect for the opinion of others.
