The battle for Madrid

Isabel Díaz Ayuso

This will be the second consecutive Easter Week where the state of alert has turned us into subjects with a slave soul. The Autonomous Regions and the cities of Ceuta and Melilla have been transformed into Chinese walls. Endless. Borders have been militarised with barricades on land while controls are random at sea and in the air. The virus does not stop, deaths exceed a thousand per week, vaccines are insufficient, the infected already exceed 3.2 million people, those hospitalised are on the way to collapse the ICUs in this fourth anticipated wave and the social-communist government controls our fears and our ruin with exceptional powers of a state of war. We did not save last Christmas and we will lose next summer. And from now on it will be compulsory to wear a mask. The BOE has sanctified it in the midst of Rociíto's psychosis.

Invading the centre

Now Mr Sánchez is playing the role of a Cistercian penitent from the far centre with Gabilondo as a stowaway on the Ever Given obstructing the Suez Canal for elections on 4M. It is a lie that Madrid has lost 600 million of European Funds for calling elections that have avoided a coup d'état thanks to the bravery of Isabel Díaz Ayuso - a motion of cluster and shrapnel with Más Madrid and Ciudadanos as a package; it is a lie that Gabilondo knew nothing of the motion presented in Madrid out of time and fortunately defused in the courts; and it is a lie, likewise, that the Madrid left wants to freeze taxes when three weeks ago they presented amendments to the Budget worth 3. 3.2 billion euros. But the biggest lie of this professor without ethics or morals - who was a friar before he was a politician - is when he assures that he will never accept the votes of Pablo Iglesias to govern the Community. "Not with this Iglesias," he said, as if there were another Iglesias who was not a communist, not a separatist and democratic. He just had to say: "Read my lips like Dr. Sanchezstein". This candidate is bland but not serious or formal. Therefore, it is difficult for him to "govern seriously".

Meanwhile, the tenant of La Moncloa believes that the EU would not support a PP-Vox government when he does so with communists, secessionist coup plotters and terrorists. A government that wastes 53 million on saving an insignificant airline with the Bolivarian seal of Ábalos, Delcy and Maduro. And Montero's SEPI that has paid as if it were in its Andalusian fiefdom.

Gabilondo has already fallen into the mortal sin of blaming Ayuso for the arrival of the French and illicit celebrations, when he knows that the closure of the Adolfo Suárez-Madrid Barajas airport depends on the national government, as does public order in Madrid. The goal is clear: everyone against Doña Isabel. Including Genova 13 with Pablo and Teodoro as parachute listers. The popular leadership has not understood that voting Ayuso - here and now - is not voting PP tomorrow. Restaurants, bars and commerce will not forget that the regional executive has prevented many closures in these 14 months of pandemic. And that it will be this Popular Government alone that will provide urgent help to start the resurrection of the sector, where Labour, Social Security, Equality and Social Affairs have not been able, three weeks later, to get the SEPE to work. And, on top of that, they have not allowed the European vice-president to visit the Zendal, the reference hospital for coronavirus. Sánchez, after the setbacks in Murcia and CyL will try again to suffocate Madrid.

The battle for Madrid is the first victory to overturn the next general elections. Hence the invasion of the Frankenstein Government to dominate the moderation of language, narrative and propaganda. After Arrimadas' mistakes, Edmundo Bal is more necessary than ever in the Community. Despite his recent behaviour, his votes cannot be lost in the dustbin of history.

We owe her one

We owe Madrid's president Isabel Díaz Ayuso (IDA) one. And we had better pay her back this time with a shower of votes. The most relieved by the absence of Iglesias will be Pedro Sánchez, who can now sleep more peacefully. As can we all. The second vice-president has achieved what he was looking for: to set up chaos in Congress - from accusing VOX of trying to stage a coup d'état to insulting MPs and voters from the centre and the right as corrupt and criminal as no-one else. Of course, he has never explained how he has achieved such a great wealth in just six years as a professional politician in the company of Irene Montero. The Iglesias-Montero family, based in Galapagar, has followed Solchaga's axiom to the letter: "Spain is the country where you can get richer in less time". Iglesias has ridden between contradictions all his life. The frapero's son will leave no positive trace of his time in Moncloa. 442 days lost. It is said that he is bored with management. This explains why he has not even visited an old people's home when he was entrusted with that task in the first period of confinement; his best moments have been spent insulting - in particular Minister Margarita Robles - and watching series on HBO and Netflix. The popular spokeswoman in Congress has described him as "a complete slob".

As for the 2030 agenda, his other facet as a public official, he is not known to have taken any initiative, not even commissioning a study to put an end to jet lag. He has wrecked his party, he has behaved like a Leninist and if he had not been stopped in his tracks by Errejón, Tania and García, today he would be leading the pending revolution after being told no by Mayoral, Garzón and the mother of his own children. In short: he had no other choice. Let us hope that the people of Madrid do not forget the damage he has done to the whole of Spain. Not a single vote on 4M for this guy who has only fabricated lies, rancour, video cards and a permanent hatred of freedom, democracy, Spain, the 78 Constitution and the Constitutional Monarchy. We will not miss him. As much peace he carried with his failure on his back, as tranquillity this seducer of the carpet leaves us. Thank you, IDA.

The curse of Puigdemont

The separatists have always been a problem. As Manuel Azaña wrote with full knowledge of the facts. Insatiable is the adjective that best describes them. Today we would call them drug addicts. Drug addicts and traffickers of xenophobia and resentment.  Puigdemont is in charge. A short dictator with the pretensions of an emperor. Since Waterloo he has become the ambitious Bonaparte without passing through the Isle of Elba. After the 1-0 coup and without having soldiers, he "keeps his "nation" at war". Now, after imposing the imputed Borràs as president of the Parliament, he ignores for the second time the candidate Pere Aragonés (ERC) and he will not invest him until he admits that "the Puchi", a coup plotter and escapist, is the national authority above the Executive and the Legislative. I do not believe that Sánchez Pérez-Castejón will do battle like the Duke of Wellington with the support of Úrsula von der Leyen, a possible descendant of the Prussian Army Field Marshal Gebhard von Blücher. And I don't think Sánchez will start any battle, because Mikel Iceta has already assured that the pardons of the secessionists are underway... And I add: the pardons will be extended to Carles de Waterloo and all the "exiles".

The head-captain of Junts will have no choice but to make a pact with Junqueras because there are 30,000 officials with their semi-detached villas to pay for, including a swimming pool. Napoleon Puigdemont is trying to piss off ERC to force elections and win 20,000 votes from PDeCAT, which would make him the leading separatist party. And what does Illa do? Leave the chamber when Ignacio Garriga, a Vox representative, a constitutionalist, took the floor; Salvador Illa fulfilled his part of the sanitary cordon in the company of the xenophobes and racist Nazis of ERC, Junts, CUP and Podemos. The most lying and least transparent minister of democracy - we still don't know the number of dead of the coronavirus (more than 100,000) -, playing the role of the coup's procurer and trying to accelerate the dialogue table... for the referendum and secession; that is, the unconditional and preventive surrender of the Spanish government.   Puigdemont's curse will be worse than that of Tutankhamun, after his tomb was discovered in the Valley of the Kings by the Englishman Howard Carter in 1922.

Disobedience without suspension

Once the amnesty plan presented to the Congress Bureau by the separatists and Unidas Podemos was overthrown for opposing article 62 of the Constitution to benefit the mafiosos of the "procés", the Government has been branded as involutionist, but they accept it all because Sánchez is still in La Moncloa with the explicit support of the left, the far left, the separatists, the Leninist communists, the terrorists and the PSOE of Sanchez, and they advocate the path of dialogue, which is a dead end that will lead us to set fire to Barcelona when we return from our holidays. Those who today accuse the government of being an involutionist - a word forgotten half a century ago - will be the first ones who, on May 10, will bet on maintaining the state of alarm so that fear will prevent us from walking the streets until the vaccine gives us some respite, if we haven't died in the hunger queues beforehand.

But we must not deceive ourselves. Enemies of Spain never sleep. In a few days, the PNV will present a parliamentary initiative to lower the penalties for public officials who fail to comply with court rulings (provincial courts, National Assembly, High Courts of the Autonomous Communities, Supreme Court and Constitutional Court). It is a rule tailor-made so that the separatists cannot be prosecuted. The fines are reduced from 30,000 to 600 euros, to be paid by the institutions, not by the offender himself. Remember what I say: they will be the new victims of Madrid's "centralism".  The most serious thing is that they will not lose their jobs or their salaries. That is to say, there will be no disqualification either, as happened with Torra. It is one more step in the disintegration of Spain. If we add to this the decriminalisation of insults to the King, to the flag, to the Constitution and the criminalisation of the symbols of unity and tradition, the dismantling of the language - how long will it take to hear translations of Bable from Aragonese and Castilian in the Senate - we will reach only one conclusion: Spain will be disarmed before the end of the year by this Sanchist-Lenilist government.

The price of this project presented by Aitor Esteban is to bring prisoners closer - the criminal Henri Parot, with a 4,800-year sentence, who planted the bombs in the barracks in Zaragoza where 17 people died, including five children - has already been transferred by Minister Grande Marlasca from Córdoba to León. In two months, with the powers of Penitentiary Institutions transferred to the Government of Vitoria, he will be on the street like Junqueras and Co. in Lladoners. Now, precisely now, the TC says it is going to supervise false repentance. As Perón said and his acolytes in Argentina continue to practice, "no water for the enemies... no justice".

Embarrassing ministers

From the president to the last of the ministers, there are not even half a dozen who can endure the cotton wool test of dignity. Iglesias walks out the back door after insulting the Spaniards who did not vote for him and calling us criminals and corrupt from his official office. A wretch. A compulsive liar. An impostor. The Minister of Education, Isabel Celaá, a multimillionaire who takes her daughters to elite schools, as she herself was, now wants to do away with subsidised education, special education and approve everyone in order to fool PISA (The Programme for International Student Assessment) and the parents who want to be fooled. Goodbye to effort and memory. The law that bears her name, according to this resident of Bilbao's most exclusive neighbourhood, will be a burden for all those born after 2015. The answer she gave in parliament to the Popular MP, Juan José Martarí, when he explained to her that special education should not disappear and he related how her daughter - with Down's syndrome and a university graduate - had overcome her difficulties, was deplorable. "Where do you come from, where do you come from? You don't know this problem or the teachers...".

In more than four years in Parliament, I have never heard anything so miserable and partisan; she is a person with no sensitivity, with airs and graces of superiority when she has been shown to be incompetent. And I will say more: she is not only the worst cabinet minister in a democracy; she is a bad person.

On the subject of incompetent and arrogant ministers, we can only mention the tribute that the Minister for Universities, Manuel Castells, has announced his department will pay to the rector of the University of Oviedo, Leopoldo Alas "Clarín", who was assassinated by Franco in 1936. Just one detail: the author of La Regenta was never rector of that university or any other, but a Law professor. He was born in Zamora in 1852 and died in Oviedo in 1901. Franco was born in 1892. So long living in Berkeley (California), the richest minister of the entire government, born in Hellín (Albacete), is still anchored in the Law of Historical Memory, which is the same as rancour. He confuses father with son and is incapable of apologising. This is the way the University is going with whippersnappers of this type who, under cover of the pandemic, has hardly been to the official office thirty times in 14 months. A sociologist of demagogy. And separatism.

A Requiem for Bankia

I have been a customer of Caja Madrid bank and then of Bankia for half a century. The family payrolls have all gone through there. And I receive my pension there every 25th day. The former Caixabank does not consider the pension as a salary. I say this because they can start charging us maintenance fees as of last Monday. Do we have the right to abandon this ship free of charge if we feel we have been mistreated financially?

I was sad to see how the anagram of the Bear without a strawberry tree has disappeared from the Kio Towers. CaixaBankia would have been a more balanced name. Madrid and Catalonia leading Spain's finances. The capital of the Kingdom has lost its Monte de Piedad where I pawned my Lettera 35 to pay for my first Journalism course. How easy it would have been to incorporate the Madrid bear on the left and Miró's star on the right as a sign of unity and strength! Although the head office remains in Valencia because of the independence virus, la Caixa will return to its origins. Requiem for the Bankia bear.  We would like to think that this was not another unconditional surrender of the government to ERC. Calviño and Sánchez should clarify this. They will keep quiet. And so will the opposition. The parties and the government are running away from a sense of State. And this takeover of La Caixa was a matter of general interest. All evil has two remedies: time and silence. We have lost the financial battle for Madrid. We still have a key day left to win the war: May 2+2. Let's fill the ballot boxes with freedom!
