Either communism or freedom
That is the question. On 4 May, the people of Madrid have a date with the ballot box. The TSJM has rejected the appeal of the Madrid Assembly's Bureau. The two motions of censure of the PSM and Más Madrid consented by Ciudadanos, have been defeated by Justice avoiding a fraud of law after previously knowing the dissolution of the Legislative by the President of the CAM Isabel Díaz Ayuso. Gabilondo and Errejón are knowingly lying and claiming that they knew nothing. Shame on them! I refuse to believe that Pablo Iglesias will abandon the mamandurria of the second Vice-Presidency and be the candidate of UP. How is the service!
In her barely five-minute speech, Ayuso made it clear that she wants to lead a project of her own and did what she should have done more than a year ago: dissolve. Aguado's constant betrayals - the penultimate one was to boycott the General Budget for 2021 by refusing to accept a reasonable proposal from VOX to grant direct aid to SMEs - has exhausted the patience of a leader without complexes who has openly confronted the cesarism of Sánchez-Iglesias, her own party and has built the Hospital Enfermera Isabel Zendal to combat Covid19 while maintaining employment as far as possible, especially in the hotel and catering industry.
The political tsunami in Murcia began on 10 March when Carlos Cuadrado - the Sanchista Redondo - showed up in the capital of Pimentón to overthrow López Miras (PP) and the coalition government with Cs. It was a self-coup, plotted between the Palacio de la Moncloa, Ferraz 80 and Alcalá 232, the headquarters of Ciudadanos. Four weeks to drown Pablo Casado and invade the centre-left, destroying the Popular Party and throwing VOX into the darkness of the extreme right. Only Inés and her intimates knew of the betrayal of the south-east government; justification? the VIP vaccines injected into the former health councillor, madam and 400 cronies. They resigned three weeks ago. Instigator: PSOE secretary general José Luis Ábalos, Delcy Rodriguez's boot.
I return to the story: Inés did not count on that gentleman from Murcia, -Teodoro García Egea- who, at night and in the middle of the pandemic, managed, after the dismissal of several Cs councillors, to reach an agreement with the vice-president and two councillors to neutralise the demolition operation. Isabel Franco's explanation was very short: "The people of Murcia have not elected me to hand over the government to Sánchez". She is right, even if Edmundo Bal has accused her of "selling out to the PP with money from the 'caja B'. Those of us who knew Bal and admired his performance as a prosecutor in the 1-0 trial confirm with regret that he has already become the bumper of Doña Inés del alma mía. Neither Sánchez, Casado nor Arrimadas have come forward to explain this instability created in the midst of the pandemic. It is curious that those who went to court in Catalonia to hold elections on 14F, are the same ones who are now going to court to prevent citizens from going to the polls to vote in freedom. Finance Minister M. J. Montero and government spokeswoman, famous for discovering that "water and salt cannot mix", ardently defended the PSC's going to court to take advantage of "the Illa effect" - "there are no problems with the coronavirus" - while attacking President Ayuso (she will take office on 4 May when the polls open) with the opposite argument: "it is immoral to call elections at this time". The newspaper archives give away the president of Ciudadanos, who a few weeks ago made a moral commitment not to launch any motion of censure (motions like cluster bombs) in these times when the priority was to save lives and create jobs. What ethics and what morals!
Professional politicians have the memories of fish... sword. Let's see what the beautiful Inés - with whom we loved so much the brave and constitutional centrism - has to say to her betrayed executive. We do not expect her resignation after this betrayal of her militants and voters. She will change two or three pawns and blame those who join the PP (Frank Hervías, Rivera's right-hand man after leaving his seat in the Senate). Tony Cantó's departure explains the abyss of the orange party.
It is one year since the national government acknowledged, a month late because of the 8M20 deadline, that the coronavirus was a lethal enemy. Our common enemy. Since then, it has claimed 72,500 official victims (according to the INE, more than 100,000); almost two million jobs have been lost, we have 2 million self-employed in cessation of activity and almost another million in ERTEs. One in four bars have closed and the GDP has fallen by more than 11%, the same as in the middle of the civil war. The government has raised its salary, the SEPE continues to sink in the cloud of the hakers while the number of advisors has increased to the point of obscenity. The president of SEPI - a friend who knows all the secrets of the former Andalusian councillor Montero, accused of alleged corruption - has been vacant for 522 days. With this horizon of hopelessness, the government delegate in Madrid calls off the feminist demonstrations while the charismatic leader steals the spotlight from the Minister of Equality. It doesn't matter, it's true.
After surprising Congress with the announcement of allocating 11,000 million euros to prevent the ruin of thousands of companies, the minister Calviño, who found out in the plenary session, has had to improvise an emergency distribution that will take at least two months to reach the Autonomous Regions. Let's hope it's not too late. As too late has come the spectacle of destroying the weapons confiscated from ETA (some looked like they were confiscated from the maquis in the 1940s). And in Valdemoro, without flags: neither of the Guardia Civil nor of Spain. (Let's see if Otegui and Urcullu are going to get angry) The victims of Terrorism must be forgotten.
The steamroller of Miss Pepis is likely to be used again by the beloved president to take revenge on those who have crushed his hand in Murcia (Community and City Council), Castilla y León and the CAM. A year later, the vaccines have brought a little peace of mind but we are still confined to medieval borders. We cannot travel outside our Community but the French can travel to Mallorca, the Canary Islands and Madrid with a recent PCR. Perhaps, that steamroller will lift the cobblestones of the capital of the kingdom on 20M when the 30 ultra-left groups, encouraged by candidate Iglesias and his Mareas, finalise a great attack on the Puerta del Sol.
But the worst thing this year has not been the isolation. The psychological problems are already showing (sore throats, headaches, coughs, pulmonary fibrosis, thrombi, lack of concentration, fatigue, weight loss, hypertension, sweating, chills, arrhythmias, loss of hatred, shortness of breath, digestive disorders, joints, skin signs, etc.) The worst thing has been the disinformation of the government and the lies of the trio Sánchez-Illa-Simón. There were no masks, no protective equipment for health workers and no experts from COVID. The State of Alarm has only served to confront Spaniards, to remove political responsibility, to disarm parliamentary control, to divide society and to initiate a Bolivarian policy ranging from the expropriation of homes in the Balearic Islands (PSOE-Podemos) to the intervention of the judiciary, restricting its functions and decriminalising the crime of "informative" pickets on strike days. And now he is threatening to extend the powers until Christmas. Arrimadas has the answer after asking for 8 million euros to the ICO to maintain its headquarters. Will citizen debts be the cause of the rapprochement with Sanchismo?
The weekend tele-preacher, Dr. Sánchez, is silent about the simultaneous attack on the PP-Ciudadanos coalition governments, by the way, the same sonorous silence of Casado and Arrimadas. All of them, heirs of Mr. Rajoy who went out for drinks while they mounted a tangana that has taken us back to the 30's. What will be the revenge of Pedro and Pablo against Ayuso? Moncloa's Factory of Ideas will accuse her of everything possible and impossible. They have already started calling her a "Madrilenian independentist". After having put up with the paniaguado Ignacio, these fifty days left until the "absolute majority" may be a relief even if they dynamite the Zendal. Will the opposition shut it down if she wins? A good question for Iglesias, Pablo Gómez and Professor Gabilondo.
Seventeen years have just passed since 11-M. 192 dead and almost 2,000 injured. And we still don't know the truth. We don't even know how the 8 carriages destroyed in the three simultaneous attacks disappeared, nor why the Vallecas backpack (without a detonator) turned up. Nor why the Vallecas rucksack appeared (without a detonator), nor who the mastermind was. As always, silence in the sewers of the Interior, with Ángel Acebes as PP minister; José Antonio Alonso, Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba and Antonio Camacho (PSOE), Jorge Fernández Díaz and Juan Ignacio Zoido (again, PP) and Fernando Grande Marlasca with Sánchez. Marlasca must be very busy with his new treadmill (2,800 euros) that we all gave him "without him knowing".
A veil of tar on looks and hearts to cover up the information. And the truth. Jamal Zougan was sentenced to 42,917 years and since then he has been claiming his innocence from Galicia.
The Atocha monument to the victims of the tragedy sleeps the oblivion of those in limbo and not long ago when I visited it was closed to the public. The plaque commemorating the tragedy at kilometre 0 of the capital of the Kingdom is only read on this date. The victims, like those of ETA, annoy this social-communist government. The King, in his first appearance on the International Day for the Victims of Terrorism, reminded us that "we must reject the legitimisation of violence". He stressed the need not to forget. "Preserving the memory of the victims is therefore an exercise in respect and justice". I was travelling that day - and at the same time - on the Cercanías train from Majadahonda to Príncipe Pío. And I returned the next day, and the day after that, and the day after that. We democrats will never forget that at that moment the change of regime began, the real coup to dismember the unity of Spain. The PP headquarters were surrounded 24 hours later and the Transition suffered an "invisible and homicidal axe". "Today," wrote my great countryman and friend Julián Martín, "life was torn apart and many lips left without a kiss. This time spring has begun black with a red twilight of hatred".
The "Illa effect" has remained what it was: nothing. Nothing and nobody. The fugitive, cowardly and rebellious Puigdemont continues to direct from Waterloo (with the salary of ex-president and MEP, bodyguard and secretary) the strings of the Generalitat. He has imposed Laura Borràs as president of the regional parliament precisely because she is indicted for corruption in order to carry his victimhood to Brussels. The escaped Serret turns herself in at the Audiencia Nacional and goes straight for the deputy's seat for Junts x Carles to continue sucking from the public teat. And to conspire against Spain. With impunity. Deputies of the three secessionist parties (ERC, JxCat and CUP) have accounts with Justice for disobedience. With these heirs of the xenophobia of Heribert Barrera, of the corruption of the Pujol-Ferrusola, and of the looters of shops in the centre of Barcelona (CUP and CRD), the first thing the PSC has done is to sign a "cordon sanitaire against VOX" that includes Cs and the PP. Bravo, Salvador!
Borrás, Torra's follower (another disqualified person receiving money from the budget), and Puigdemont's protégé, has disqualified her predecessor for "asking for dialogue with Sánchez" and has demanded a referendum in this legislature after stressing that her mission is simple: "disobedience to the Courts, amnesty for the coup perpetrators and construction of the Catalan State". And what have Illa and Sánchez said? Nothing. That is the magic power of dialogue of the tenant of La Moncloa. The illustrious Rufián already warned with a threat: "This coalition government depends on ERC, don't forget Sánchez".
It is now 40 years since the signing of the Manifesto of the 2,300 for Linguistic Equality in Catalonia. Losantos, Trancón, Robles, Amando de Miguel, J.M. Fernández and 1,995 other decent intellectuals signed it. They were all "ordered" to leave the "Catalan oasis". Some went to America, while others took refuge in Madrid, where they have been teaching in freedom. Four decades later, Ayuso's slogan "Either social-communism or freedom" is stronger than ever.
This Bay, in this week in which the suicide of Ciudadanos is consummated - we should never have loved and voted for Alberto and Inés with so much excess - we must reconsider the judicial horizon of Bárrcenas who wants to kill Rajoy, Arenas and Cospedal, whom he accuses of receiving bonuses. The secretary general confessed to me personally that she never received a single euro of extra money. I believe her. In fact, she denounced the treasurer and won the trial in the second instance. The cross-country skier, Luis Bárcenas, owes her 70,000 euros. I have always wondered why Rajoy and the young Arenas have not sued this "caja B" crook. And speaking of criminal horizons, we are waiting for him to be released from prison, at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, where he has more than 30 pending cases. "The state cleans itself from the sewers", he said. (La España Inventada, by Francisco Marco and Manuel Bravo, Editorial Indicios, 2020) is a must-read to know that we are facing a great impostor decorated and pensioned by the PP and PSOE governments.
But let's go back to the beginning: in the last few hours we have heard some terrible attacks against Isabel Díaz Ayuso, the president of the people of Madrid who has had the courage to dismiss Bellido Dolfos (Ignacio Aguado) and has left all his cronies placed in the CAM on the street. Ayuso only wants the people to speak. And that people can live with the virus without starving to death. His decision has been a risky one. But let us remember that "in risk, there is hope". On 4 May, Tuesday, everyone to the polls... Let's vote in and for freedom!
