Infinite extortion

Member of the European Parliament and former Catalan President Carles Puigdemont and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez - AFP/KENZO TRIBOUILLARD and LUDOVIC MARIN

Amnesty and corruption will be the backbone of the 15th Legislature. This is the star project that will culminate with the approval of the General State Budget. Objective: to gain time.

  1. Progressive wall
  2. Decrees
  3. The trees and the forest
  4. Who will give more?
  5. The worst is yet to come

1,200 days to dismantle the Transition and coexistence. 1,000 dark nights for the permanent extortion of the enemies of Spain. With an added singularity: the greatest ally in demolishing the structures of the State is the legitimate Government of the Nation. We are entering the most critical year of our lives. Here, it hurts to say it, who is in charge is a coup leader fugitive from justice from Waterloo (Belgium).

Progressive wall

The government will continue to rent La Moncloa completely free of charge. Sumar will devote its best intentions to kill Podemos, the Employers' Association and the self-employed. Junts will take the opportunity to humiliate Pedro Sánchez, his plurinational team, the liberal opposition, the Crown, the Judiciary, the Constitution and Spain even more at dawn.

The plundering ERC, reconverted into a lapdog of Sanchismo, will green exponentially to win the internecine battle of Catalonia; Bildu will reconquer the whole of Navarre from Pamplona; the PNV, which sees its hegemony threatened, will demand the impossible, including migration policies; and the BNG, which aspires to be a PSOE colony in the northwest, will make merits to return to its revolutionary origins of Galiza Ceibe-OLN.

And what will the PSOE do? Blindly follow its one true god, claiming that the agreements are not of the government, but of the parliamentary group. As if the commander in chief were not the same.

This holy trinity (Moncloa, Ferraz, Congress) will allow them to continue lying shamelessly in all dimensions with the triministro Bolaños at the head. Thus, it is easier to blame the PP first, then the PP-VOX and finally the populares, voxistas and podemitas... identified as the extreme right or the extreme right against the "progressive wall" that is "in favour of the people".

This progressive wall, built brick by brick with all kinds of falsehoods, silences, fictions, farces and frauds has a common denominator with the Berlin Wall (1961-1989); both were built not so that citizens could not enter, but to prevent the comrades who were inside from getting out (see Exhibition in Madrid, Fundación Canal, until March 2024).

It is in this space, corrupt and revolutionary in the image and likeness of the GDR, that communists, Nazis, separatists, coup plotters, racists, entrenched xenophobes and worshippers of the Puebla Group live side by side with a plurinational Bolivarian Executive with the sole interest of disarming the state as soon as possible and returning to the 1931 checkpoints of the last century. Democratic Memory is the shortest way. That is the social majority that the president demands to legitimise his mandate.

These are his people. That is his Berlin wall of wire and reinforced concrete to exclude half of the Spanish people. And there will be no turning back despite the desperate appeal of the president of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, to get out of the "labyrinth".

Decrees

The plenary session of Congress held last Tuesday in the Senate by reform of the Palacio de los Leones marked the perimeter along which national politics will run for the next 30 months: to govern by means of decrees, as has been the case until now. A decree-law is an emergency instrument for exceptional situations. Sanchismo has turned it into a daily weapon of mass destruction to neutralise the opposition. It mixes the sheep with the goats and admits no discussion. It is all or nothing. The vote is a trap. The Government always wins.

And that's 142 Decree Laws in five and a half years. That is 30% more than Felipe González in 14 years in office. With this method, debate in the Cortes is disallowed. Authoritarianism, to put it in moderate terms. Despotism disillustrated by sticking to common sense.

Thirteen heart-stopping hours. We lived them as direct witnesses with a hundred colleagues watching the corridor leading to the Chamber of Sessions. A madness of comings and goings without a single truth to tell the taxpayer. Simulation without complexes. A parliamentary session in which the Executive and its partners have deceived us beyond our means. They all lied and they all lie.

First came the threats of the Count-Duke of Bolaños against PP and Vox for not voting their "dictaks". Either with me or against me. He accused them of leaving 11 million pensioners without a rise, 750,000 families and 1 million small businesses without aid; workers without transport passes and students without grants. In other words, they are heartless. Not a single reproach to Junts, who said they were going to vote against. Nor to Podemos.

Yolanda in the defence of her labour measures was pathetic, reading some papers where the message was as simple as she was: "Understand me if I tell you, believe me, let me explain...". And finally (up to 4 finals) accusing popular and voxistas, and obviating her natural rival who has legitimately taken revenge for the mistreatment to which she has subjected the five disciples of Pablo Iglesias Turrión. Worse intervention than when he explained the "ERTEs" together with Escrivá. She has learned nothing. She is a bluff.

The trees and the forest

The trees of the decrees have not let us see the forest of the essential: the rejection of the amendments to the totality of the future amnesty law. This unconstitutional law is already moving with all urgency towards the debates in committee. That is what is important.

Against the amnesty, I wrote down in my diary the end of Cuca Gamarra's speech. The secretary general of the PP ended with a powerful idea full of good sense: "We are against this law because it is unconstitutional. We are committed to a Spain of free and equal citizens".

Contrary to the popular thesis, Gabriel Rufián took the podium, looked sideways to his right, took a deep breath, drank some water and asked three grotesque questions as if he were in a late-night bar: "Aren't you ashamed to have people taking plastics in Galicia? What has happened in a year since we presented our proposal for an amnesty law? And three: When will they accept their defeat? Surrealism.

The ERC spokesman is not what he used to be. He has become one more buffoon of Sanchismo. Like Errejón, who is desperately looking for an office and an official car.

The queen of Congress is Mirian Nogueras, Puigdemont's direct spokesperson. The Hollywood-like staging of her speeches is in line with her messages. "If they want our 7 votes" - she emphasised - "they have to agree to our uniqueness; we need emigration policies, the suppression of article 43.bis of the Criminal Procedure Law to shield the amnesty, reform of the law to force companies to return to Catalonia and the total payment of transport subsidies".

Only two recipients: Pedro Sánchez to pay the bills in "cash" and the voters of Junts in Catalonia so that they know who is in charge here. "We are not interested", she asserted like a supremacist, "in the Government, the State or the Kingdom; we are interested in Catalonia winning. Visca Catalunya Lliure". Then she went, and all hell broke loose.

In his Parliament he fooled people and strangers into believing that they would vote against the three decree-laws. And the PSOE (the deputy minister Montero and the super-minister Bolaños left the chamber - backpacks on their backs - looking as if they had seen aliens.

And there began the speculation and the announcement that the president would be expected immediately. It was 15:33 in the afternoon. The first rumour that went through the Chamber from the Hemicycle to the bar, passing through the great corridor of the Senate, had an impact on the one hundred accredited journalists: "The government has lost all three votes". The more seasoned of us were left clutching our heads in doubt. "This cannot be the beginning of the end of Sanchezism". Sánchez is the most astute. Yet.

A Junts intoxication spread panic for hours. Late at night and with rain in the heart of Madrid, the unknown was cleared up: Yolanda had lost her game against Podemos. Junts was ambushed in the filibuster. It did not abstain, its seven deputies simply did not vote. Another way of laughing at all Spaniards. They only answer to Puigdemont. They will do it more than once.

A Junts communiqué and the humiliating silence of the PSOE confirmed that the extortion had been paid in cash.

It is logical to think that after the direct thread Puigdemont-Sánchez, the president signed the cheque against Spain's interests. The concessions were delivered without firing a single shot. A convergent blackmail and an immediate surrender. In fact, socialist deputies confirmed on the way out that they did not know what the voting intentions of the Pujolist heirs were, nor the concessions.

A great triumph for the fugitive from Waterloo, who managed in little more than three hours to maintain maximum tension in La Moncloa. For technical reasons, the votes had to be repeated in the heat of the night. And there the PSOE regained its smile. Two victories for Sánchez, a defeat for Yolanda and an unprecedented triumph for Junts, which is heading for the final stretch of the amnesty. They can already see the final destination: the independence referendum.

Now, the process of breaking away from Spain will accelerate because the Galician, Basque, European and possibly Catalan elections will become the best excuses to sack the state and leave it disarmed. They will all squeeze the president like a lemon. This is the weakest and most dangerous government in Spanish democracy.

Pedro Sánchez promised us a solvent Executive and a progressive legislature; he has neither one nor the other, but he is the master of time. Those on the "wall" cannot leave because they are out of business. All of them. Moncloa can threaten to bring forward elections at any time if the Frankenstein's Boys do not approve the General Budgets for this year. And the PGE/24 are the safe-conduct to exhaust the legislature until the body can take it.

With a couple of extensions, he is just a stone's throw away from his eternal and unspeakable dream: to remain president in 2031, to celebrate the first anniversary of the Second Republic and, by then, to have dismantled the Transition of '78 and the Monarchy. It will not be for lack of desire. Sánchez was born in the wrong era. And we will pay for his adaptation to the environment.

Who will give more?

Nobody has given so much to the enemies of Spain in less time than the plurinational president. We are not forgetting the pardons, nor the promises to bring the coup-maker Puigdemont to justice, nor to reduce the sentences of politicians for corruption in previous years.

We still don't know what compensation the state will receive for the unconditional and unconditional handing over to BNG, PNV, Bildu, ERC and Junts. In barely two months (57 days) since the investiture, the president has made the following gifts in the knowledge that the coup plotters will perpetrate another coup d'état. Long live constitutional loyalty!

I remember them here so that I don't forget: ERC and Junts will have their own parliamentary group in Congress and the Senate.  Money for advisers. Translators. Diplomatic offensive in Brussels to make Catalan, Basque and Galician official languages in the European Union and in the Parliament. All paid for by the Spanish state (Belgium presides over this semester and has not included it in its mandate).

Other privileges: economic support for the Generalitat's Diplomatic Corps. When will a Kosovo-style passport be introduced?

Call from the president to Puigdemont and future visit to whitewash him in spring. The secretary general of the PSOE photographed after the photo of the illegal referendum ballot box in the fugitive's office. Inclusion of the CDR and Tsunamic Democrátic, with Boye and Laura Borrás, convicted for corruption, in the future amnesty law.

Item more: cancellation of 15,000 million of the debt contracted with the State through the FLA (Autonomous Settlement Fund) that amounts to 74,000 million euros and does not intend to pay.  Rodalíes (Cercanías, amputating ADIF and RENFE), with an extra annual cost of 3.5 billion. 1,600 million more to create 1,800 new posts in the Mossos. Financing apart from the rest of the Autonomous Regions. Payment of public transport subsidised in its entirety. And only for Catalonia. If it is extended to other regions, Barcelona will demand more compensation. Surveillance of ports, airports and coasts. Territorial expansion as far as Almansa.

The presence of 3,500 police officers in Catalonia is in danger. Let's not forget the Salvadoran verifier in the PSOE-Junts talks in Switzerland as if we were a banana democracy. Nor the commissions on Pegasus and the ware against the judiciary. This is big game. And, to be taken into account at the last minute, the sensitivity of eliminating VAT on extra virgin olive oil.

The transfers (full and delegated) in emigration will allow the xenophobic and racist Catalan parties to expel undocumented, undesirable and delinquent people to the rest of Spanish territory and to control migratory flows. The mafias, delighted. Thanks to Coalición Canaria for voting for Sánchez's decrees.

The perimeter of the vice-president MJ Montero is as infinite as Cantabria. And without limits in the Public Treasury. The Moncloa always pays the party to the wrongdoers.

The worst is yet to come

The PSOE has won a Pyrrhic victory. It has pushed through the Omnibus Law and the social shield. Pensions are safe, which was the important thing. Yolanda swallowed her own medicine and paid dearly for her mistreatment (not just contempt, but mistreatment) of her former Podemos comrades. Revenge feels better in the snow. To get her own back up, she first threatened and the next day punished the CEOE by raising the SMI by 5% (from 1,080 to 1,134 euros). Neither 3% as proposed by the employers' association nor 4 as suggested by his government. The 5 to please the unions addicted to secession. Poor SMEs and the long-suffering self-employed. Then they are surprised that the black economy is on the rise. But their mouths are full when they talk about dialogue, dialogue and dialogue when the only thing they practice is surrender and unconditional surrender to the enemies of freedom. We are heading straight for economic and moral ruin. All rights; not a single duty.

We had started the year with Military Easter, highlighting King Felipe VI's thoughtful speech in the presence of the heiress Leonor and senior military commanders, in recognition of the fallen and our missions abroad.

Suddenly, the Middle East conflict has spread to the Red Sea and Spain is neither with NATO, nor with the EU or the United States. Disconcerting behaviour towards our allies. The Minister of Defence, Margarita Robles, declared a few hours ago that "we did not join out of responsibility and to preserve peace". Tell the truth, madam. We are not going because that mandate requires recourse to Parliament and your communist, coup-mongering and Bolivarian partners will make a fool of you, although you know that the PP and VOX will vote yes. Out of patriotism and solidarity. But Pedro only allows himself to be humiliated by Don Carles.

In the case of our southern neighbour, we are still in no man's land. A Popular MP asked the government about the Sahara and the opening of the border in Melilla. The government's response, which I am allowed to read, is nine words long: "The Moroccan issue is very sensitive for Spain". Pure transparency.

It is worth noting that after the president's rebuff to the debates on the "decrees" and the amnesty law, he showed himself to us in mortal flesh. It was 18:38. After resting in the Salón de Gobierno for almost an hour, he went to the Chamber.

Miguel Tellado, spokesman for the first opposition party, asked President Francine Armengol for the beloved leader to deign to report on the "recent and clandestine agreements" with Puigdemont. She denied the request. And Sánchez burst out laughing along with his deputy M. J. Montero.  The president showed himself victorious before the press of his pyrrhic victory. "It is the will of the social majority that voted for us". The Justice Minister repeated "ostentatiously": "We have won, we have won!"

The president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, like Segismundo, said that, having seen the spectacle, if he had known, he would not have gone into politics. He regretted that his reasonable proposals (lowering VAT on canned food, meat and fish, electricity and gas, and deflating personal income tax for those earning less than 40,000 euros a year) were ignored by those on the Wall.

After this first plenary session, Junts has returned euphoric and defiant to their homeland. Nothing and nobody will stop them.  The two major parties, PP and PSOE, have gone on a retreat in Toledo to reflect on the future. And the Spanish Left is still absent.

Surely they will not reflect on a dozen extremely necessary problems: the PHN, the persistent drought, the axe to nuclear energy, education, health, child poverty, immigration, the countryside and livestock, fishing, rare diseases - including ALS -, mental health, suicide and drugs of all kinds. When will the total fight against mafias and human trafficking come? Are you going to read on the Internet the XIV Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America? There has never been a coup against the unity of the Fatherland. And Trump may be the first president to sit in the dock for point 2 of that amendment.

As this Bay goes to press, Otegui is already demanding the keys to the Basque prisons so that ETA members can go home. The PNV will provide the amount of the gudaris' pensions. Taxpayers to pay.

The amnesty-politicians erasing other politicians' crimes of high treason, embezzlement of public funds and government control of Parliament and the judiciary; the amnesty, it said, will legalise corruption in one fell swoop. Corruption and inequality. Therefore, we will not be free and equal citizens. But foreigners in our own country and second and third class citizens.

When criminals make the laws, extortion is the right mechanism to fully achieve plurinationality and popular democracy. Yes to national sovereignty emanating from the people!

If the gods do not protect us before the ides of March, the extortion will be infinite. On 28 January, all constitutionalists will take to the streets, to the streets of Madrid. The worst thing we can do is to do nothing. We will continue in the Resistance, long live the Constitution of 78!
