Irreducible Donald Trump

Nothing is stopping Donald Trump, the president who left the White House with the most mentally and politically unhinged memories in living memory, from regaining his histrionic power. As half-announced, he confirmed that he will run for president in 2024 and, today, he will begin the primary campaign to be the Republican Party's candidate once again.
When the desire to continue believing that he is the master of the world cannot be overcome, there is no stopping him. Donald Trump, the great mistake of the complexity of voting in the United States combined with the effect of fascist demagogy, governed the world's leading power without bothering for a single day to hide his derangement. It is difficult to assume that the wreckage he left in American society, divided in two as it had never been before, still provides him with a fanatical following.
He tried to remain in office by claiming, unsubstantiated as it would turn out, that he was the winner of the election two years ago under the allegation that fraud had been committed in the counting of votes in several states, and he went on a rampage, filing complaints that led to thorough investigations that invariably showed his claims to be unfounded. But that rejection did not inhibit him from continuing to try to stay in the Oval Office.
The second time was to promote from the shadows nothing less than a coup d'état, even with some deaths, in the hitherto unimaginable assault on the Capitol, the seat of the Houses of Parliament. Not satisfied with that scandal that shocked the world and of which accusations still linger, he continued to conspire against his successor, whom he never recognised as such, Joe Biden, whom he has continued to make life miserable ever since with unfounded criticisms and accusations.
Well supported by his cronies, including many of those who had to go on strike after the election defeat, he spent several months preparing for a victory for his candidates for senators and representatives in the mid-term elections, with the aim of using them as proof of the vote rigging he had suffered and as a starting point for his re-election campaign.
Nor was this the case, and his candidates suffered a real collective defeat, just as he did not manage to put an end to the reticence that his pretensions aroused in the Republican Party, which, without much secrecy, is looking for another candidate. The FBI search of his residence a few weeks ago, where he was suspected of having hidden top-secret documents stolen from official archives, triggered another major scandal that he did not even flinch from.
Trump continues to forge ahead, unwavering, ready, not to gamble his prestige, which he no longer has, but his wealth, which is considerable, even though much of it is awaiting clarification by the courts. He will run in the Republican primaries under the shadow of several crimes, awaiting trial, but this neither dissuades him nor discourages his "hooligans" who dream of having him back supporting discrimination, stopping emigration, making the poor poor poorer by the day and promoting discord.
