Trump continues to raise money for his return to the White House

Donald Trump continues to raise money in large amounts to fund his election in 2024. At no point has he really stopped taking donations from his supporters since he left the White House. Several organisations, which he oversees through his campaign teams, are keeping alive his claim that the election has been stolen from him, and are encouraging activity by counting down the days until he gets it back.
So far this year, official figures reveal that more than eighty million dollars have been raised. Added to the more than $20 million he held in residual campaign accounts when he left office, his current political capital stands at $102 million at his disposal. This is a figure completely unrelated to his private investments and accounts, in several cases subject to legal proceedings.
The electoral teams that Trump continues to keep active have so far raised more than the Republican senators, which explains in large part the control he continues to maintain over them. This is both surprising and worrying. There are still many supporters who believe that Biden stole the presidency from him and that the election recounts were tampered with. This reality makes it difficult for the new president to reach agreements with his adversaries on Capitol Hill.
It is of no use that all the appeals he has presented have been rejected, nor that the pressure he has exerted from the White House is still being revealed to do precisely the opposite, first to manipulate the tallies in his favour and then, once the results were known, to invalidate them. Among political analysts and sociologists alike, it is surprising how many fanatics continue to trust his lies and remain convinced that he will return to power.
