The Iranian uprising in brief

The Iranian national uprising marked 116 days on Monday. Angry demonstrators gathered outside Gohardasht prison in Karaj, a large city west of the Iranian capital Tehran, to protest and prevent the mullahs' regime from executing the two young prisoners, Mohammad Ghobadlou and Mohammad Broghani, who were transferred to solitary confinement on Sunday night local time for execution early Monday morning.

Ghobadlou and Broghani were sentenced to death after being tortured to extract confessions under duress and without due process, even under the regime's own laws.

Demonstrators shouted anti-regime slogans at their rally, including "I will kill those who killed my brother!" and "This is the last message: one more execution and there will be more uprisings!"

In the western Iranian province of Lorestan, residents attacked buildings associated with the regime's security forces and its agents with Molotov cocktails.

In Bukan, northwestern Iran, residents gathered to commemorate the 40th day of the assassination of Avat Ghaderpour by regime security forces began chanting, "Death to the oppressor! Be it the Shah or [Khamenei]".

In Eshtehard, west of Tehran, residents gathered to honour #MohammadMehdiKarami and #SeyedMohammadHosseini and lay flowers at their final resting place.

Security forces are doing their best to prevent these rallies, which often turn into anti-regime protests:

In dJam, Bushehr province, southern Iran, protesters used Molotov cocktails against the regime's Basij paramilitary base.

In Saveh, south of Tehran, car workers went on strike to demand answers to their poor living conditions and other problems.

In Isfahan, in central Iran, the Judicial News Agency announced the death sentences for three young men arrested during the protests.

In the city of Dashti in the southern Iranian province of Hormozgan, courageous youths symbolically hung an effigy of Khamenei on a lamppost.

In the Ekbatan region of Tehran, brave youths hung an effigy of Khamenei on a highway bridge in the middle of the day.
