France... a critique of the toxic ideas of the far right

The French intellectual and media scene is experiencing unprecedented dynamism and ferment these days, championed by Eric Zemmour and the extreme right. Undoubtedly, anti-democratic forces are lurking behind and stirring up the scenes.

The follower of French affairs since the 1970s has written that the recipe is very simple: if you want your discourse to succeed, you just have to refer to immigrants, Arabs or North Africans, black Africans and Muslims, and hold them responsible for the decline and decadence that France began to experience some time ago and all the scourges that befall it.

The Russian Bolshevik leader Lenin said: "Feed the people with words and then you can force them to swallow everything".

On this basis, one wonders what might come out of Eric Zemmour's words, which could be very dangerous not only for migrants residing legally or illegally in France, but also for France as a whole.

The words of Zemmour, who comes from a Moorish family or an Algerian-Jewish Berber, can be summarised as follows:

Reduce the clash of civilisations to the clash of the West and Islam.

The reason for the beginning of France's decline and the sluggishness of the state is the Muslim immigrants, who began to replace the "native" French, as he put it. Muslims refused to assimilate into French Christian culture and imitate their culture and names, instead of the Douban in French Christian culture and naming their children with French names.

In response to this situation, from Eric Zemmour's perspective, France should take the following measures:

• Expulsion of all illegal immigrants from France, without exception;
• Expulsion of prisoners and those with criminal records and their deportation to their countries;
• Revoke the French citizenship of all Muslims involved in crimes such as felonies, drug trafficking, murder, terrorism, etc.;
• That the French state regain its strength and rigour in dealing with these circumstances.
• Of course, this discourse pushed by Zemmour finds a strong resonance with a significant number of French people, to the point that the recent poll conducted by the largest French institutions gave Zemmour the possibility of getting 17% of the vote in the next presidential elections in 2022.

But if we look at the rubbish of pseudo-thinking, we must point out:

First: the real progressive conflict, at the economic, cultural, political and strategic levels, is not a conflict between Islam and the West, but between the United States of America and its allies and the People's Republic of China and its allies. In the sense that the old France remains secondary in the global strategic equation.

Second, France's defeat is due to other factors that have nothing to do with immigrants or Islam, and here it should be noted that political Islam is the work of the West, including France.

The decline is due to the dominance of multinational corporations and monetary lobbies, and the control of money, media and power by families that are not necessarily of French origin or even of Christian orientation, this Christian religion that Mr. Eric Zemmour, unfairly and aggressively, boasts that it is the origin of civilisation and progress in France.

Just as a reminder, the second millennium of the history of Christianity (coming, of course, from the East, and exactly from Palestine) 2000 years ago, we can talk about some of its achievements below.

Fourth, not all Muslim immigrants in France are politicised or organised in Islamic organisations, the vast majority of them are ordinary believers who practice their religious rituals or are assimilated into French society.

If all the world's immigrants have to emigrate, or rather loot (up the waw), what about French immigrants in Africa, the Islamic world and Asia?

Isn't one of the secrets of the prosperity of nations, the accumulation of cultural wealth and identities and differences?

Faced with this tragic situation, France, the revolution, and the lights, must re-emerge, reconsider what it has become and benefit from other Western and Christian countries that knew how to intelligently contain immigration problems.
