From August 31st, CaixaForum+ will offer its users the concert with which Gustavo Dudamel inaugurated his stage as musical director of the Paris Opera.

From the magnificent Palais Garnier, the concert program is composed of a selection of unmissable operatic moments, including several pieces by Carmen, by Georges Bizet; Doctor Atomic, by John Adams; Lohengrin, by Richard Wagner and Peter Grimes, by Benjamin Britten. The program also includes compositions by Giuseppe Verdi, Richard Strauss, Manuel de Falla and the Argentine composer Osvaldo Golijov.

In this first concert as music director of the Paris Opera, Gustavo Dudamel is accompanied by numerous luxury guests: the sopranos Jacquelyn Wagner and Sabine Devieilhe, the tenor Matthew Polenzani and the bass-baritone Gerald Finley, among others.

New concert and interviews: Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía

CaixaForum+ will premiere this Thursday, August 31st, a new episode of the second season of the podcast Maestros del periodismo, dedicated to veteran journalist Miguel Ángel Aguilar. Aguilar took his first steps in journalism at the defunct Diario Madrid, to join at the beginning of the seventies in Exchange 16. He was director of Diario 16 and the newspaper El Sol and also directed the EFE Agency between 1986 and 1990. Throughout his long career, he has been a columnist for various media, such as the newspapers El País and La Vanguardia and the magazine Tiempo. Aguilar is also a well-known face on television: in Telecinco, from the nineties, he presented the weekend news and participated as a commentator in various current political spaces.

The podcast Masters of Journalism collects the experiences and experiences of great figures of this profession. The Madrid Press Association, which produces the podcast, wants with this strategic project to preserve the memory of journalism through its protagonists and extol the pride of being a journalist.
