The Three Cultures Fondation offers the conference 'Andalusia, a model of neighbourhood in the European Union'

On 24 November, the Three Cultures Foundation will host the conference 'Andalusia, a model of neighbourhood in the European Union'. This conference, promoted by the General Secretariat for External Action of the Andalusian Regional Government as part of the preparatory and consultation actions for the Conference on the Future of Europe, aims to encourage the participation of Andalusian society so that it can play a leading role in building a common position from Andalusia on the future of Europe, specifically in the field of various successful issues related to the neighbourhood between Andalusia and Morocco.
Entitled 'Andalusia, a model of neighbourhood in the European Union', the conference consists of three round tables which will analyse the Andalusian model of success with respect to its neighbourly relations with the southern shores of the Mediterranean, with particular emphasis on its relations with the Kingdom of Morocco. This analysis will focus on two specific aspects: firstly, the prospects and priorities of the Mediterranean neighbourhood and secondly, the analysis of the European neighbourhood policy in the future of Europe, with particular emphasis on the success of cooperation in public diplomacy and especially cultural diplomacy as an adjunct to traditional diplomacy, embodied in the Three Cultures of the Mediterranean Foundation.
The conference will show Andalusia's position in relation to the future European Neighbourhood Policy based on dialogue, mutual knowledge and coexistence based on a common heritage in order to help improve the existing model and which is based on a very proactive attitude on the part of our region.
