Three Cultures Foundation Commemorates Holocaust Remembrance Day

On the occasion of the international commemoration of Holocaust Remembrance Day and for the prevention of crimes against humanity, a date proclaimed by the General Assembly of the United Nations in memory of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp on 27 January 1945, the Three Cultures Foundation of the Mediterranean joins the event, which on this occasion will take place on Monday 30 January, from 13.00 h, at our headquarters.

Once again this year, we will hold the candle lighting ceremony in memory of all the victims of the Holocaust, and we will do so as always with the collaboration of Centro Sefarad-Israel, the Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain and the Jewish Community of Seville.

The event will include the presence and testimony of Robert Wolfberg, a Holocaust survivor, as well as the reading of poems and allusive texts and the musical accompaniment of a string quartet from the Barenboim-Said Foundation.
