ADM: major investment to build two new motorways in Morocco

As part of the expansion of its motorway network, the Moroccan National Motorway Company (ADM) has launched its investment programme which plans to build the Tit Mellil-Berrechid motorway and the Rabat-Casablanca mainland motorway, with a budget that should reach 8.4 billion dirhams (around 735 million euros) over the next three years.
The board of directors of the Moroccan National Motorway Company (ADM), which met last Tuesday under the chairmanship of the Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, approved the budget for the first year 2024, estimated at 1.6 billion dirhams, pending approval of the other two, i.e. 3 billion dirhams for 2025 and 3.7 billion dirhams for 2026.
Investment boom
The main assumptions of this budget are articulated around a turnover of 3.8 billion dirhams (350 million euros) by 2024, marking a 3% increase compared to 2023. ADM's turnover growth would reach 8.8 billion dirhams over the two years 2024 and 2025, rising to 8.9 billion dirhams in 2026.

With a planned investment budget of 2.1 billion dirhams, the ADM will continue the work on the last two lots of the triplication of the Casablanca-Berrechid motorway and the Casablanca bypass motorway, as well as the construction of the new Tit Mellil-Berrechid motorway.
This investment will also be used to reinforce the safety system for the benefit of motorway users and to monitor the motorway's system automation programme, according to an ADM communiqué.
It should be recalled that this investment is part of the investment programmes dedicated to public enterprises and establishments, which mainly cover the energy, telecommunications, housing, agriculture, electricity, drinking water, phosphates and their derivatives, motorways, and air, sea and rail transport sectors.
