Air connectivity between Morocco and the European continent is becoming even more fluid and accessible thanks to the expansion of Air Arabia, the leading low-cost airline in the Arab market. It will not be until October when the company will launch three new direct routes between the North African country and Europe.

Air Arabia's expansion in Morocco and Europe is not only an increase in connectivity between the two continents, but also an opportunity to explore new routes and increase the schedules of established routes. All at much more affordable prices, which will make travel more accessible and attractive to travellers.

Although there are three new routes, we can group them into two categories: those departing from Tangier and those departing from Tetouan. This division allows us to analyse the progress and development of northern Morocco, which has been an area of economic and tourist growth in recent years, with an annual growth rate of 5%.

This is due to investment in infrastructure, improved security and the promotion of tourism in the region. Economic and tourism growth has led to an increase in demand for travel and services, which has fuelled the growth of the tourism industry in the region.

Routes from Tangier

There are two routes from Tangier: Girona (Spain) and Bordeaux (France)

Air connectivity is a key factor for the economic and tourism development of the region. The inauguration of these new air routes between Morocco and Europe is an example of how investment in infrastructure and collaboration between businesses and governments can have a positive impact on the economy and society. These new air routes are just the beginning of a process of development and growth in the region.
