The Spanish transport multinational belonging to the British group National Express continues its commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility.

The company, born in Asturias and with more than 100 years of experience, operates throughout Europe, Morocco and Puerto Rico. Its parent company also operates in North America, the Middle East and Africa.

The bus presented in Madrid features the most innovative environmental advances, pioneering propulsion technology, a hydrogen-powered fuel cell and a totally silent electric motor. All of this is complemented by a long range.

In its commitment to sustainable mobility, Alsa has full confidence in hydrogen as a clean energy source. It scrupulously complies with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Green Deal launched by international organisations.

In 2019, the company invested 20 million euros in electric, LPG and hybrid buses. It has reduced gas emissions by 11% since 2015. It has used a 100% electric bus for urban use at the Autonomous University of Madrid and is continuously developing efficient driving programmes.

Alsa is part of the national platform 'Companies for Sustainable Mobility'. A meeting point for companies, institutions and public administration that are committed to sustainable growth from an economic, social and environmental point of view.

The aim is to facilitate the creation of alliances and synergies between members, to generate initiatives with impact, share knowledge and good practices, as well as to give visibility to organisations and initiatives that are driving change.

Environmentally friendly, safe, inclusive and sustainable mobility.

Alsa is firmly committed to the plan to make all its buses 'Zero Emissions' by 2030.
