Lucky BTC Miner Gets $150,000!

A new Bitcoin (BTC) miner is celebrating after single-handedly adding the 780,112th block in the Bitcoin blockchain. According to BTC.com's Bitcoin explorer, the solo miner created a valid block hash using the Solo CK Pool mining service, earning a reward of 6.25 BTC plus a fee reward of around 0.63 BTC, totaling nearly $150,000.

With the low computer power or the short amount of time (just two days!) required to create a legal transaction, mining the valid hash is a significant feat for a solo miner. There are 3,220 transactions, totaling about 16,940 worth of Bitcoin, included in the block the miner produced. A Twitter user and the Solo CK mining pool admin, Dr. Kon Colivas, tweeted about this significant accomplishment in his account.
