The meeting of the jury of the Exporters and Investors Club Internationalisation Awards was held in Madrid. For the past nineteen years, the Club has been recognising the work of companies, institutions and individuals in favour of the internationalisation of the Spanish economy. The awards consist of three categories: large company with an outstanding international projection, SME with an outstanding international projection and senior official or institution of special relevance for the internationalisation of Spanish companies.

In the large company category, the jury recognised Acciona for its excellent performance over the years in international markets and its extremely important contribution to Spain's image within and beyond our borders. The company is present in 45 countries and is a world leader in sustainability-related projects, especially in the water sector.

It has also distinguished in the category of small or medium-sized companies the Premo Group, the company based in Malaga, which is also a world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of inductive components for hybrid and electric vehicles, telecommunications and industry. The Premo Group is present in 36 countries and 96% of its turnover comes from international business.

In the section destined to reward the institution of special relevance for the internationalisation of Spanish companies, the Exporters Club has recognised the work of the Network of Spanish Economic and Commercial Offices Abroad. The jury highlighted the great support they provide to companies in their internationalisation process and the effort of adaptation and flexibility they have had to make since the pandemic began in order to continue providing their services in a context of great uncertainty.
