Iberdrola launches a video to thank its close to 40,000 employees

The electricity company Iberdrola has released a video in which it thanks its nearly 40,000 employees for their hard work and innovative talent. 

Every day millions of people switch on the lights in their homes, plug in their electrical devices and charge their mobile phones. Thousands of industries and offices start up, trains run and traffic lights regulate traffic. A daily miracle that we take for granted.

However, thousands of Iberdrola workers around the world know that electricity does not fall from the sky. Behind every switch is the effort and work of people who make turning on a light bulb seem like magic. 

Iberdrola has become the largest private electricity company in Europe and the leading company in stock market capitalisation in Spain; it brings energy to nearly 100 million people in dozens of countries. In addition, 600,000 shareholders trust their investments in this company.

For every permanent job, it creates a value-added chain with ten indirect jobs. In total, 400,000 people work in the development of Iberdrola's activities around the world.

The sustainable energy model is an international benchmark not only for its profitability, but also for the fight against the climate crisis.
