Iberdrola has been recognised as a Top Employer 2024 in Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, the United States, Brazil and Mexico for the excellence of its comprehensive people management practices and for its contribution to their personal and professional development. This has led to its accreditation as a Top Employer Europe.

The certification process of the Top Employers Institute, a global benchmark authority in the evaluation of the professional environment that organisations provide their employees, involves an exhaustive and very rigorous analysis of people management practices and their impact on the organisation as a whole (strategy and results) and on the engagement, attraction and development of talent.

Specifically, the Top Employers Institute seal is based on the results obtained in its HR Best Practices Survey, which transversally analyses the people management function through six domains made up of 20 practices. Its audit, validated by a global committee of experts, includes areas such as people strategy, work environment, recruitment and selection processes, learning, well-being or diversity and inclusion, among others.

Each of the certifications achieved by Iberdrola and its subsidiaries are independent, for which reason the group has had to substantiate, in each of the aforementioned countries, its compliance with the requirements of the Top Employers Institute.

Iberdrola thus becomes one of the four Ibex-35 companies - the only one in the energy sector - and one of only two energy companies worldwide to have the European certification of the Top Employers Institute. It is also one of the two utilities with the highest number of certified countries internationally.

Established more than 30 years ago, the Top Employers Institute is a global organisation that distinguishes the best companies to work for and excellence in people management.

Through its HR Best Practices Audit, 2,300 companies in 121 countries have been certified as benchmark employers, impacting more than 9 million workers who work in these companies.
