Indra Group has once again been recognised as one of the world's leading companies in sustainability, according to S&P Global's prestigious annual sustainability report, The Sustainability Yearbook 2025.

The company stands out as the only company in the IT Services sector to have remained in a leading position for five consecutive years in this yearbook, a global benchmark for sustainability, which more and more companies worldwide aspire to and which is updated annually with increasingly complex and demanding requirements.

Based on the assessment of 7,690 companies from around the world, of which only 780 have managed to enter the exclusive yearbook, the Indra Group is ranked among the top three in its sector and is the only company on the Ibex 35 to be featured among the leaders in its sector in this edition.

To be included in this exclusive world ranking, the Indra Group achieved a score of 100 points in key areas such as transparency and reporting, business ethics, tax strategy and risk management. In the environmental sphere, Indra Group has achieved the maximum score in energy efficiency (100 points) and has stood out for its climate strategy, thanks to its commitment to decarbonisation and to bringing forward its emission reduction targets by 10 years to neutralise emissions in its own operations by 2030 and in the value chain by 2040.

On a social level, it has placed itself in the 100th percentile, obtaining the highest score in labour practices and privacy protection, and an excellent position in the areas of occupational health and safety. Its work in attracting and retaining talent is also noteworthy.

‘At the Indra Group we are aware that in order to achieve sustainable development it is necessary to stop climate change and protect our environment, but also to improve the safety and well-being of citizens. For this reason, we are firmly committed to promoting sustainable innovation through our solutions, with the development of technologies that contribute to a safer world that is more respectful of the planet,’ says Manuel Ausaverri, Indra's Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and head of the group's sustainability area.

The Sustainability Yearbook bases its analysis on public information from the companies evaluated, but also on the exhaustive and prestigious S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), which, with more than 16,500 data points, is also used to compile the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), in which Indra has been listed for 19 consecutive years. The DJSI requires a minimum market capitalisation, so The Sustainability Yearbook opens the competition up to other smaller companies, hence the larger universe of participation.

Sustainability recognitions

In addition to being listed on the DJSI, Indra Group has been part of the FTSE4Good index for years, has an AA rating on the MSCI-ESG index produced by Morgan Stanley and has been awarded the platinum medal by Ecovadis, the highest rating awarded by this platform specialised in evaluating the sustainability of companies, which is increasingly taken into account by customers and places Indra in the 99th percentile, at the top of the rest of the companies in its sector. For its part, the Sustainalytics index has distinguished Indra Group in the Industry Top Rated category as one of the best rated companies in ESG in the Software and IT Services sector.

The Indra Group has also once again been included for another year by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) among the leading companies in the fight against climate change with the highest possible rating, ‘A List’, thanks to the company's multiple efforts in this area and the contribution of solutions with an impact in areas such as sustainable mobility, energy efficiency and environmental protection. The technology group has also just been included in the ranking ‘World's Best Companies in Sustainable Growth 2025’, drawn up by the US magazine Time and the market research company Statista, as one of the best companies in the world in sustainable growth.
