Indra meets with the Ukrainian government, institutions and companies in Kiev to discuss collaboration

A delegation from Indra has made a three-day trip to Ukraine to meet with the Ukrainian government, institutions and local companies, and explore possibilities for collaboration in defence and the subsequent reconstruction of key infrastructure in the country.
The Director of Institutional Development at Indra Group's Office of the President and one of its advisors, along with a Director of Air Defence Systems and a Manager of International Defence Business Development at Indra, met with several deputy ministers, including the Deputy Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine and the Deputy Minister of Civil Aviation. The delegation's visit was supported by the Spanish Embassy and the Commercial Office in Kiev.
The Ukrainian representatives expressed their interest in Indra's Lanza air defence systems and radars, as well as in the company's in-depth knowledge of integrating all types of surveillance, command and control, and communication systems to increase their effectiveness.
They also expressed interest in airborne electronic defence systems, which play a critical role in alerting and protecting aircraft, and in the Nemus active protection radar, designed by Indra to protect combat vehicles and armoured vehicles against all types of missile, projectile and drone attacks.
Another topic discussed by both parties was the importance of space capabilities today for military operations, an area in which Indra, through Indra Space, is strengthening its position, both in the provision of services and in the development of systems and satellites, with the aim of becoming a key player in the sector on the continent.
Indra, for its part, had the opportunity to learn about the latest technological advances and solutions developed by Ukrainian companies, which have undergone enormous development and are now among the most advanced in the world, especially in everything related to the manufacture and mass production of drones.
With this visit, Indra is continuing a collaborative relationship that the company already had with the country's authorities before the conflict, especially in terms of modernising its air navigation systems.
The company now plans to resume this collaboration to promote the reconstruction of the country's various infrastructures.
The Ukrainian authorities expressed their gratitude for Indra's presence on the ground and for the support they have received in recent years from Spain and its citizens.
