The Regional Investment Centre (CRI) of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region has announced the launch by the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade of the 2024-2025 support programme for first exporters.

This new support mechanism consists of tailor-made assistance over a period of two years, through financial support from the Moroccan state to companies and cooperatives constituted under the laws of the North African country that have export potential and intend to become established exporters.

Registration for this programme is now open and the CRI of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region urges all interested companies to register as soon as possible by filling in the relevant form.

For more information, the advisors of the CRI of the region of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima are at your disposal to help you in any way necessary and to give more information to all interested companies and cooperatives.

The region of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima was created in 2015 by the new administrative and territorial division established by the Moroccan administration and is composed of the former region of Tangier-Tetouan and the province of Al Hoceima. This region is located in the extreme northwest of Morocco.

The extension of its administrative perimeter and the diversity of its natural resources demonstrate its great economic potential. Moreover, the region occupies a strategic position south of the Strait of Gibraltar, at the crossroads of the world's busiest international maritime trade. It also represents the closest part of Africa to Europe and an important link between the African and European continents.

This region is considered a centre of economic growth par excellence, offering countless assets for investment, and the CRI in the area is working to attract domestic and foreign investment to further develop the territory's potential to the maximum, within the very economic boom that Morocco is currently experiencing.

During the first half of 2023, approximately 23.7 billion Moroccan dirhams were invested, around 70,000 long-term stable jobs were created, 53 conciliation reports were resolved and various guides and brochures were published for investors and territorial promotion.

Now comes this announcement to promote support for exporters for the period 2024-2025, just after the Regional Investment Centre of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima itself launched the Northern Fund for Development and Investment (NORDEV) to attract investment and job placement in order to support project promoters and boost innovation in the region and its various provinces.
