Through a budget of one billion dirhams dedicated to the Northern Fund for Development and Investment

Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Regional Council supports businesses and attracts more investment

The Regional Council of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima has launched the Northern Fund for Development and Investment (NORDEV) to attract investment and job placement in order to support project holders and promote innovation in the region and its various provinces. 

At the Ordinary Session of the Regional Council organized this October in Tangier, the President of the Council, Omar Moro, accompanied by the Wali of the region inaugurated the NORDEV Fund located at the headquarters of the Regional Council of Tangier, during an official visit in the presence of members of the Council.

Created in partnership with the wilaya of the region and the Regional Investment Centre (CRI) and the Agency for the Promotion of Development of the North (APDN), the Fund targets five categories of project or investment holders inside and outside Morocco, namely: cooperatives, self-employed, micro-enterprises, SMEs and large enterprises.

Both new and innovative investments and those aimed at expanding existing projects can benefit from these subsidies. It is worth mentioning that these grants can reach up to 30% of the investment with a maximum limit of 100,000 dirhams for self-employed entrepreneurs and 10 million dirhams for large companies.

Applicants for this type of subsidies can proceed to the headquarters of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, as well as the services made available in the various provinces and prefectures, which work in continuous coordination with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, the Chamber of Maritime Fisheries of the Mediterranean, the Chamber of Agriculture and the Chamber of Crafts, in addition to its various partners, in order to facilitate the access of deserving applicants to these subsidies.
