Marocco Now is the new brand presented by the Kingdom of Morocco at Expo2020 in Dubai. It is an identity created by the Ministry of Industry and managed through the Agency for the Development of Investment and Exports (AMDIE), a body of the Ministry in charge of promoting foreign investments beneficial to the Maghreb country.

In this sense, Marocco Now is the image of this effort, and was presented at a conference led by the heads of AMDIE and the Confederation of Moroccan Companies, Youssef El Bari and Chakib El Alj, at the Moroccan pavilion of Expo 2020 in Dubai. In his speech, the president of the business association stressed the way in which "Morocco has set itself up as an example of how to correctly manage the pandemic and face an economic crisis, with courage and anticipation, thanks to a close collaboration between civil society and the state", as reported by the Moroccan media Tel Quel. These statements go hand in hand with the purpose of Marocco Now, which is to present Morocco as a favoured location for economic investment.

At the presentation of Marocco Now, the brand's proposals were presented. Among them, the 'Now Durable', the Moroccan invitation to promote a green and environmentally friendly industry and economy. In this respect, it is worth remembering that in Morocco, renewable energies account for 37% of total production. For its 2030 agenda, Morocco wants to reach 52% of renewable energy production. Renewable energies, especially solar energy, have been one of the strong points of foreign investment in Morocco since the implementation of this strategy in 2009. Wind farms add to this range of resources and investment possibilities.

The conference also highlighted the reduced cost of production that investors in Morocco can enjoy compared to the country's neighbours. These costs are largely due to the 54 free trade agreements from which the Moroccan economy benefits.

The development and growth of the large industrial port of Tangier-Med was also one of the points addressed during the presentation of Morocco Now. It is one of the most important opportunities for economic growth in Morocco today, and one that is receiving the attention of many companies.
