NI HAO CONECTA (NHC) receives the Ana Baschwitz award as the best consultant for the internationalisation and promotion of Chinese and Latin American companies

For its work in the internationalisation and promotion of private and public entities in China and Latin America, NI HAO CONECTA has been recognised as the best consultancy firm of the year by the Ana Baschwitz awards, which were held in Madrid for the second time, and which aim to promote the distinction of professionals in this sector.
The award, presented by Miguel Garrido de la Cierva, president of CEIM and vice-president of the CEOE, was collected by Laura González Escallada, founder and partner of NI HAO CONECTA, who expressed her gratitude for such a significant award. "When we started this project, with the clear objective of strengthening Spain's strategic position as a natural bridge for investment and Chinese and Latin American companies, we knew that it was vital to offer comprehensive communication campaigns to our clients". Among NI HAO CONECTA's services as a consultancy firm, its portfolio includes communication strategies and campaigns focused on Chinese and Latin American markets.
For Laura, "a communication campaign on an international scale can only be successful if it includes important factors such as: understanding a map of strategic contacts, media network and social media campaigns according to territory. We need to internalise that, in a world saturated with information, often 'less is more'".

The distinguished jury was composed of communication professionals made up of Luis Fernández-Matamoros (president), Andrés Dulanto, journalist and communication consultant and editor-in-chief of the EFE agency, José Manuel González Huesa, CEO of Servimedia, Rosana Ribera, Dircom of "LoComunicas", Candela Palazón, communication consultant, trainer, teacher, journalist and ICF-ICE Communication Institute coach, Ana Samboal, journalist, director and presenter of "Código Samboal" on Trece TV; Alfredo Urdaci, CEO of Ludiana Agencia de comunicación and Grupo Decisión Media, Jaime Estévez, CEO and founder of Agora News, Constantino Mediavilla, president editor of Madridiario and Diariocritico groups, official chronicler of the Villa de Madrid and president of APEI, Miguel Garrido de la Cierva, president of CEIM and vice president of CEOE; and José Luis Barceló, as secretary, writer, journalist, radio producer and Spanish political scientist, expert in communication and international relations.

The awards commemorate Ana Baschwitz, PhD in Communication Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, who was an outstanding professional in the world of communication. President of AB Public Relations, a continuation of Urzáiz Comunicación, she also participated in programmes on TVE and Telemadrid, and published four books on gastronomy and current affairs. Her field of work ranged from tourism to technology, airlines and medicine.
