Royal Air Maroc awarded best airline on routes between Spain and Africa at the Travelranking Awards

Royal Air Maroc, Morocco's national airline, has been chosen as the best airline on routes between Spain and Africa in the 30th Travelranking Awards organised by the magazine specialising in the professional tourism sector AGENTTRAVEL.
The gala was organised by the specialised magazine AGENTTRAVEL at the Meliá Castilla hotel in Madrid with the aim of bringing together the most prominent companies in the tourism sector that operate in Spain.
Miguel Sanz, Director General of Turespaña, and Laura Martínez Cerro, Director of Tourism and Hospitality for the Community of Madrid, were in charge of opening and closing the ceremony that brought together the main players in tourism related to Spain.
This event, which focuses on the activity of the tourism industry in Spain, is the only one to present awards based on the evaluations made by travel agents, which are published monthly in the specialised magazine AGENTTRAVEL.
It is important to point out that it is the travel agency professionals themselves who decide who is to receive the awards and this confers great value on the prizes, which are presented in 30 different categories.
In this sense, Royal Air Maroc, Morocco's main airline, has been recognised by industry professionals as the best airline on routes connecting Spain with Africa.
The award was collected by Habib Skiredj, the Moroccan airline's regional director for the Iberian Peninsula, who expressed his gratitude for the recognition of Royal Air Maroc's role as an important link between Spain and Morocco, two neighbouring countries on either side of the Mediterranean and considered partners and allies at all levels.
Royal Air Maroc has managed to consolidate its position as a preferred option for travellers between Spain and Africa, thanks to its network of strategic routes, the modernisation of its fleet and a service focused on comfort and efficiency.
With its main hub at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, the airline offers multiple connections to key destinations on the African continent, facilitating travel.
The gala for the 30th Travelranking Awards brought together almost 200 executives from the tourism sector, who attended the Meliá Castilla hotel in Madrid to participate in the awards ceremony in 30 different categories.
The best tourism providers were recognised, according to the opinion of almost a thousand professionals published during 2024 in the magazine AGENTTRAVEL.
The emblematic ‘A’ was awarded to the following companies and tourism organisations:
In the Airlines category, in addition to Royal Air Maroc, Iberia was recognised as the best airline on routes in Europe and America, Qatar Airways as the best airline on routes in Asia and the Far East, Air Europa as the airline with the best quality/price ratio, and Vueling as the best low-cost airline.
In the Hotel Accommodation category, the winners were Meliá Hotels Internacional, Meliá Castilla, Minor Hotels, Senator Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt and Bedsonline.
In the Wholesalers category, the winners were cntravel, Travelplan, Special Tours, Catai, Newblue, Luxotour, Saraya Tours, Marsol and Costa Cruceros.
And in the category of Other Suppliers, the winners were Disneyland Paris, Servivuelo, Europcar, the country of Thailand, Intermundial and the city of Madrid.
