The Spanish Exporters and Investors Club opens a regional delegation in Andalusia

The Spanish Exporters and Investors Club has opened a regional office in Andalusia, located in Malaga. This is the second delegation that the Club has opened outside Madrid since its creation in 1997, in addition to the one in the Valencian Community. Its opening responds to the association's plan for growth and expansion to new geographical areas within Spain.
With the establishment of this delegation in Andalusia, the Exporters Club wants to offer institutional support to Andalusian companies that already have commercial or investment activity abroad or to those that are about to undertake their internationalisation.
The representation of the Exporters' Club in Andalusia is assumed by the law firm GVA Gómez-Villares & Atencia, and it is in charge of the managing partner and lawyer of the firm Santiago Gómez-Villares Pérez-Muñoz, who is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Club.
In this new stage, the Delegation of the Exporters and Investors Club in Andalusia will take on the organisation of events, the production and dissemination of reports and studies, and the programming of institutional activities that contribute to projecting the reality and needs of Andalusian companies that have internationalised or those that are in the process of doing so.
Antonio Bonet, President of the Exporters' Club, pointed out that "being present in Andalusia means putting the Club's resources and advice within reach of a region with a great exporting tradition and a reference point in Spain, mainly in the agri-food sector". He also stressed that "the fact that Andalusian agri-food exports account for 22.9% of agri-food exports at national level (the highest figure in the country), is a clear demonstration of Andalusia's leadership and its contribution to the Spain brand, being an economic engine of the country in times of crisis and which also has great attractions for investors".
Santiago Gómez-Villares Pérez-Muñoz, delegate of the Exporters' Club in Andalusia, stated that "it is an honour for GVA Gómez-Villares & Atencia to represent the Exporters' Club in Andalusia. We become direct advisors to help, especially SMEs, to go outside Spain. With this new delegation, the Club brings a space of opportunities and knowledge to Andalusian companies and their immediate surroundings to grow and consolidate, establishing networks and contacts beyond the country".
On the occasion of the presentation of the Club's territorial delegation in Andalusia, at an event held today in Malaga, various experts met to discuss, at a round table, the "Effects of the new geopolitical strategy on the internationalisation of the Andalusian agri-food sector". During the event, the importance of closer collaboration between members of the sector and public administrations to overcome the obstacles arising from geopolitical tensions, as well as to face new challenges such as food safety and sustainability, was highlighted, among other aspects.
