Four arrested in Spain on jihadist indoctrination charges

A police anti-terrorist operation in various parts of Spain has resulted in four people arrested for allegedly being linked to the dissemination of jihadist doctrine.
The anti-terrorist alert in Spain is at a high level due to the international geopolitical instability caused by the conflict in the Middle East, heightened by the latest war between Israel and Hamas and the recent terrorist attacks in France, against a teacher, and in Brussels, against football fans at a match between the Belgian and Swedish national teams.
The anti-terrorist operation has been deployed by the General Commissariat of Information, as reported by various media such as Cadena SER. Meanwhile, those arrested are at the disposition of the Audiencia Nacional and the case is under the secrecy of summary proceedings. The state security forces are on high alert, with special attention being paid to alleged radical elements circulating in Spain, mainly radicalised nationals who have been in Syria or Iraq.
So far this year, 23 people have been arrested in Spain in the fight against jihadist terrorism.
