The Vatican ambassador to Libya meets with the Foreign Minister to strengthen bilateral cooperation

In an attempt to strengthen bilateral relations and increase bilateral cooperation between the Vatican State and the Libyan Administration, and following the guidelines of the Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. Abdul Hadi Al-Hawij, Director of the European Affairs Department of the Ministry, Dr. Adel Bakkar, Director in Charge of Consular Affairs, Mansour Boujnat, Director of the Protocol Office in Benghazi, Adel Al-Farsi, and Head of the Western Europe Section, Kamila Ashour, received the Vatican State's Ambassador to Libya, Savio Hon Tay Fay, at the ministerial headquarters in Benghazi.

During the meeting, both parties addressed various issues of cooperation between the Libyan state and the Vatican, exploring new ways to promote dialogue, strengthen existing ties and expand diplomatic relations.
Finally, the focus was on fostering collaboration in areas of common interest, which were not specified to the press.

The meeting was attended by the consul general, Obispo Sandro Regillo, and his entourage, as well as Director of the European Affairs Department of the Ministry, Dr. Adel Bakkar, Director in Charge of Consular Affairs, Mansour Boujnat, Director of the Protocol Office in Benghazi, Adel Al-Farsi, and Head of the Western Europe Section, Kamila Ashour.
