On 9 June, CaixaForum+ premieres "Sleep No More", an original production by the platform in collaboration with the Gran Teatre del Liceu. This feature-length documentary, directed by Pedro Ballesteros, reveals the creative process of the artist Jaume Plensa, who for the first time takes on the stage direction of an opera, Verdi's "Macbeth", which premiered a few months ago at the Gran Teatre del Liceu under the masterful musical direction of Josep Pons.

Sleep No More documents how Plensa imagines the opera, how he gets excited, how he works and how he lives this process over the course of nine months. The film delves into the rehearsals with singers, musicians and dancers, reveals how the set and costumes take shape, and ends with the premiere at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.

New episode: "Otra ronda"  - Ausias Pérez, Cachetejack and Luce

On 8 June, the third episode of "Otra ronda", an original documentary series by CaixaForum+, will arrive on the platform. In it, innovative and influential contemporary creators (artists, designers, photographers, musicians) meet to talk about their creative universes, concerns and interests in a friendly tone that also provides an insight into the careers of each of them. The workshop, a bar, a park, one's own home: these are some of the spaces that "Otra ronda" explores.

The third episode of this self-produced documentary series features four creators based in Valencia: the graphic designer Ausias Pérez, who has collaborated with artists such as Nathy Peluso and Rosalía, the duo of illustrators and designers Cachetejack and the urban artist and graffiti artist Luce.

The first two episodes of "Otra ronda" are already available on the platform. They show the meeting between the artists Eugenio Merino, Miss Beige and Sr. García in Madrid, and between the illustrators Ricardo Cavolo, Chamo San and Amaia Arrazola in Barcelona. The two remaining episodes will be released at CaixaForum+ at a rate of one per week.
