"De cara al mundo": international analysis on Onda Madrid

"De cara al mundo", the programme on Onda Madrid directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, deals with international current affairs on a weekly basis.
The new president and government of Turkey will be decided in the second round of elections on 28 May. The results of the first round gave the current president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, 49.4% of the vote to the opposition leader Kemal Kiliçdaroglu, with 45%. Erdogan's absolute majorities are a thing of the past as the election campaign heats up in search of votes. Journalist Marta Moreno Guerrero will be at the microphones of the radio programme to offer the key points of the Turkish electoral process.
Meanwhile, the war in Ukraine continues. Ukraine will be one of the main topics to be discussed at the G7 summit in Hiroshima, where Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski is expected to be physically present. A summit to which emerging countries such as India, Brazil and South Korea are invited, and where the measures to be taken against Russia and China will also focus the attention of the leaders. The presence of US President Joe Biden in the Japanese city where the Americans dropped an atomic bomb is full of symbolism. Lucas Martín, an expert international analyst, will shed light on the issues surrounding the Russian invasion of Ukrainian territory.
As every Friday, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas. They will discuss the war in Ukraine, the elections in Turkey, the G7 and Arab League summits and the political crisis in Ecuador.
"De cara al mundo", Friday 19 May from 22:05 to 23:00.
