"De cara al mundo": international analysis on Onda Madrid

"De cara al mundo", the programme on Onda Madrid directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, deals with international current affairs every week.
Morocco celebrated its traditional Throne Festival on Sunday 30 July. On Saturday, the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, gave a speech on the occasion of this celebration, which commemorates the Alawite monarch's accession to the throne.
This year, 2023, marks the 24th anniversary of Mohammed VI's accession to the throne, and the speech delivered by the Moroccan monarch is a call to preserve the achievements made and to consecrate progress, on the basis of seriousness and perseverance. In an "optimistic" tone, the royal speech is full of lessons and actions capable of responding to the concerns of Moroccan society and meeting global challenges. During the events of the Throne Festival, the loyalty and support of all Moroccan institutions to Prince Moulay El Hassan as successor to the Moroccan throne was staged. Analyst Nourdine Mouati will be in front of the microphones of "De cara al mundo" to talk about the career of King Mohammed VI of Morocco, the figure of the crown prince and the good situation the Moroccan kingdom currently enjoys.
On the other hand, Niger is in the spotlight because of the coup d'état carried out by the military leadership against the democratically elected president Mohammed Bazoum. The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) is calling on the coup leaders in Niger to put an end to the coup and to reinstate the ousted President Mohammed Bazoum, who has been held with his family in the presidential residence since the day of the coup. ECOWAS is considering a possible military intervention, while the coup leader warns that any external action will be met with a response. On the other hand, the coup leaders have announced that they are breaking military agreements with France, and a few days ago they announced that they would cut off uranium supplies to France, the former colonial power in Nigeria.
The programme returns to the course of the war in Ukraine. The EU fears a global food crisis due to Russia's blockade of grain in Ukraine. Meanwhile, Brussels is also moving to put pressure on the international community and Moscow announces the shipment of dozens of tonnes of free grain to Africa. The Ukrainian government downplays the casualties of the counteroffensive and Ukrainian maritime drones have attacked a Russian navy base near the port of Novorossiysk. María Senovilla, journalist and correspondent in Ukraine, and the expert international analyst Lucas Martín will shed light on the most important issues of the war on Ukrainian territory.
As every Friday, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas. They will discuss the war in Ukraine, the current food crisis and the link between Africa and Russia, the coup d'état in Niger, Donald Trump's impeachment and Morocco's Throne Party.
"De cara al mundo", Friday 4 August from 22:05 to 23:00.
