"De cara al mundo": international analysis on Onda Madrid

De cara al mundo

"De cara al mundo", the programme on Onda Madrid directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, analyses current affairs in the world on a weekly basis.

The Regional Investment Council of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Region organised its latest business meeting, "Doing Business in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima Region", at the World Trade Center in Barcelona, with the slogan "Together for the development of your business", in order to encourage Spanish investors to invest in this booming region of Morocco, which is experiencing enormous growth. We spoke with Adil Rais, president of Cemaes and CGEM in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, to analyse this meeting and the great expectations of the territory.

Meanwhile, the war between Hamas and Israel continues. The Israeli government begins meetings to study the possible decisions to be taken to deal with the situation after the military operations. We continue to see new videos of the tunnels built by Hamas using civilian facilities with infrastructure to house numerous people for days.

A partial withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza is being considered in order to secure the release of the hostages, and tension is rising in the West Bank as Israel warns Lebanon of the option of a military operation if Hezbollah continues to fire rockets.

Meanwhile, in Israel, the Supreme Court votes on Netanyahu's judicial reform and some leaks point to repeal, putting the prime minister in a very delicate political situation.

The war in Ukraine also continues. Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky warns that if they do not receive international aid they will not be able to pay civil servants' salaries. The United States announces a $250 million arms shipment. Meanwhile, Russia continues its bombardment. The journalist and correspondent María Senovilla and the expert international analyst Lucas Martín offer the keys to the conflict on Ukrainian territory.

As every Friday, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas. They will talk about the political and investment links between Morocco and Spain, the exclusion of Donald Trump from the primaries in Maine, although not in Michigan, news on international trade with the Michelin company withdrawing work shifts due to the lack of rubber, the war between Israel and Hamas and the war in Ukraine.

"De cara al mundo", Friday 29 December from 22:05 to 23:00.
