‘De cara al mundo’: international analysis on Onda Madrid

‘De cara al mundo’, the Onda Madrid programme directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, deals with international current affairs every week.
This Sunday, elections to the European Parliament will be held. In the Netherlands, the polls opened on Thursday. These elections are of enormous importance for the present and future of the European Union. Too many countries, especially Spain, are facing them on a national level.
On the other hand, the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings that changed the course of the Second World War has been celebrated. Twenty-five heads of state gathered to commemorate a historic event that should make more than one of us reflect on the current turbulent situation.
Meanwhile, the Gaza war continues and the exchange of attacks between Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon increases. It is certain that Israel will begin its military operation in Lebanon in the coming days.
For its part, Spain is joining South Africa's initiative against Israel at the International Criminal Court for alleged genocide in Gaza, although the Spanish foreign minister, José Manuel Albares, has avoided using the word genocide.
The journalist and correspondent María Senovilla and the expert international analyst Lucas Martín will offer the main keys to the most relevant issues.
As every day, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas. They will talk about the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon and the position of the International Criminal Court against the Israeli intervention in Gaza, the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings, the European Parliament elections and the victory of Claudia Sheinbaum in the Mexican elections.
‘De cara al mundo’, Friday 7 June from 10.05pm to 11pm.
