"De cara al mundo": international analysis on Onda Madrid

"De cara al mundo", the Onda Madrid programme directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, analyses the current affairs of the world on a weekly basis.

Tensions in the Middle East have increased even more following Israel's latest two operations that have cost the lives of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, the man responsible for the 7 October massacre in Israel, and Hezbollah's number two in Lebanon. Threats of retaliation from Iran include Hamas, Hezbollah and the Iranian-backed Houthis. Gustavo de Arístegui, diplomat and expert international analyst, will analyse the situation in depth before the microphones of "De cara al mundo". 

Meanwhile, the Venezuelan dictator, Nicolás Maduro, has stepped up his repression against citizens protesting against the electoral fraud he has carried out. He has announced the creation of two maximum security prisons and reproaches the opposition leader María Corina Machado, who is in hiding for fear of her safety, for going into hiding. 

Latin American leaders such as the presidents of Brazil, Colombia and Chile demand that Maduro present the electoral records and advocate a negotiated solution to the crisis that has already cost the lives of 20 people shot by Chavista paramilitaries.

In addition, King Mohammed VI celebrates 25 years on the Moroccan throne. With great popular support, the Alawite monarch celebrated the Throne Festival commemorating his accession to the throne. On this occasion, the 25th anniversary was celebrated, and the balance sheet of all the experts who know Morocco's reality is positive in terms of development and economic and social progress. In his traditional speech, Mohammed VI placed special emphasis on the implementation of measures to deal with the water shortage crisis and to seek solutions to the Palestinian situation.
