‘De cara al mundo’: international analysis on Onda Madrid

‘De cara al mundo’, the Onda Madrid programme directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, tackles the world's current affairs every week.
The FBI has announced that the investigations carried out so far indicate that there is no link between the terrorist attack in New Orleans, with the murder of 15 people run over by a van and shot by the driver who was killed, and the explosion of a Tesla vehicle outside Donald Trump's hotel in Las Vegas. A certain psychosis is growing in the United States just a few days before Trump's inauguration as president on 20 January.
Meanwhile, a week before the date for the inauguration of Venezuela's new president, uncertainty is growing over who will take office. Dictator Nicolás Maduro intends to enforce electoral fraud while Edmundo González has assured that he will be in Caracas on Friday 10 January to take office as the recognised winner of the elections.
Venezuelan lawyer William Cárdenas will offer the keys to the matter before the microphones of ‘De cara al mundo’.
Elsewhere, the war in Ukraine continues. Russians and Ukrainians exchange drone and missile attacks in what looks like a final race to gain the upper hand with violence at the possible negotiating table that could end the war. Meanwhile, everyone awaits the arrival of Donald Trump in the White House.
In addition, the Gaza war continues and Israel continues its attacks on Hamas command centres in the Strip.
Journalist and correspondent María Senovilla and expert international analyst Lucas Martín will analyse the most relevant points.
As every day, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas; they will talk about the attacks in the United States and the political crisis in Venezuela in view of the upcoming presidential inauguration.
‘De cara al mundo’, Friday 3 January from 22:05 to 23:00.
