‘De cara al mundo‘: international analysis on Onda Madrid

‘De cara al mundo’, the Onda Madrid programme directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, analyses world news on a weekly basis.

After suffering multi-million-dollar losses on stock markets around the world, but mainly in the United States, US President Donald Trump has decided on a 90-day postponement of the entry into force of the new tariffs he intends to impose on the whole world. He is only maintaining tariffs on China, which, after Beijing's retaliation, are now at 145%. 

Meanwhile, the contact group for Ukraine meets in Brussels, after a 450 million euro aid package led by the UK was approved. In the meantime, there is an uproar over the capture of Chinese prisoners. 

Journalist and correspondent María Senovilla and expert international analyst Lucas Martín will analyse the most relevant issues. 

As on each programme, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas; the discussion will focus on the war in Ukraine and the tariff conflict launched by Donald Trump.
