‘De cara al mundo‘: international analysis on Onda Madrid

‘De cara al mundo’, the Onda Madrid programme directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, deals with world news every week.
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, claims to be flexible when it comes to explaining the changes in the decision to apply tariffs to 185 countries around the world. Representatives from many countries and the European Union are visiting Washington while Trump has had to back down on tariffs on Chinese mobile phones, computers and other devices.
On the other hand, Ukraine and Russia have exchanged attacks this week with the death of civilians. It was Russia that attacked first in Sumy with two ballistic missiles that caused more than 35 deaths, the Ukrainian response against the Russian town of Kursk claimed the lives of more than five people.
The journalist and correspondent María Senovilla will provide the most relevant information on the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine in ‘De cara al mundo’.
Meanwhile, Daniel Noboa is re-elected as president of Ecuador with a lead of more than 12 points over his political adversary. With this re-election, the Ecuadorian country remains outside the Bolivarian orbit of Cubans and Venezuelans, while the opposition does not accept the results and applies the usual formula of destabilising the situation when the results do not favour them.
The expert international analyst Lucas Martín will explain the most relevant points to highlight.
As on each programme, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas. They will talk about the war in Ukraine, the tariff conflict launched by Donald Trump that also pits him against China, and the electoral victory of Daniel Noboa in Ecuador.
‘De cara al mundo’, Friday 18th April from 22:05 to 23:00.
