‘De cara al mundo’, the Onda Madrid programme directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, tackles international current affairs every week.

With regard to the tariffs imposed by Donald Trump, an appeals court in the United States has given the US president a lifeline by ruling that the tariffs will not be suspended. There is a war between the executive and the judiciary, which is ensuring that the rules are followed.

Meanwhile, a Spanish company, OCCAM Space, is playing a key role in putting satellites into orbit. It has opened new facilities in Coslada, Madrid, while increasing its production and customer base in the United States. Its system for securing the satellite to the rocket and then propelling it into orbit is being adapted by numerous companies.

Manuel Serrano, representative of OCCAM Space, will explain the most interesting details of his company's activity.

Meanwhile, with regard to the war in Gaza, Israel has accepted the United States' plan for a 60-day ceasefire. Hamas' decision is now awaited.

And, as for the war in Ukraine, negotiations for an end to the Russian invasion remain up in the air as attacks continue.

Journalist and correspondent María Senovilla and expert international analyst Lucas Martín will analyse the key issues.

As every day, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas. They will discuss the wars in Ukraine and Gaza and the position of the United States, Donald Trump's tariffs and the activities of the company OCCAM Space.

‘De cara al mundo’, Friday 30 May from 10.05 p.m. to 11 p.m.
