"De cara al mundo", the programme on Onda Madrid directed and presented by Javier Fernández Arribas, director of Atalayar, deals in depth every Friday with the most important issues in international current affairs.

The United Nations (UN) renews the mandate of MINURSO and urges the parties to sit down at the negotiating table for Western Sahara and rejects the use of violence. On the other hand, whether the King of Morocco will attend the Arab League summit in Algiers, following the absences of the leaders of Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and Kuwait, is still up in the air. Gustavo de Arístegui, diplomat and international analyst, will shed light on these questions.

Meanwhile, Brazil celebrates this Sunday the second round of the presidential elections with the electoral battle between Jair Bolsonaro and Lula da Silva. We will see what the Brazilians decide and "De cara al mundo" will provide all the clues.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine continues and Vladimir Putin rules out the use of nuclear weapons for the moment, but warns the world that we are living through a very dangerous decade, the most delicate in recent history. Attacks against Kiev persist while Ukraine attacks Russian territory, attacks that the United States wants to stop in order to avoid a further escalation of the conflict. Lucas Martín, an expert international analyst, and María Senovilla, special envoy to Ukraine, will take to the microphones of "De cara al mundo" to explain the course of the war.

As every Friday, the discussion will be led by Atalayar's regular contributors, Claudia Luna, Mexican journalist and writer, and Pedro González, journalist and founder of Euronews, coordinated by Javier Fernández Arribas. It will deal with relations between Morocco and Algeria and the possible visit of Mohammed VI to Algiers for the Arab League summit, the presidential elections in Brazil, the political crisis in the United Kingdom and the appointment of Rishi Sunak as the new British Prime Minister, and the evolution of the war in Ukraine.

"De cara al mundo", Friday 28 October from 22:05 to 23:00.
