Dubái acoge el Foro de Jóvenes Líderes de Marruecos

The United Nations Association of Morocco (ANU-Morocco) has issued a statement saying that the organisation itself, in conjunction with the United Arab Emirates, is organising the Young Leaders Forum. The city of Dubai has been chosen to lead the forum and will host the event. More than 70 countries are expected to participate in the event.
"We are proud to be able to confirm our effective collaboration within this important conference and to be able to bring the name of our country back to an initiative of this level which represents not only a unique opportunity for young Moroccans, but also an excellent opportunity for our country to reassert its leadership in the context of the Dubai Expo 2020," commented Abderrahmane Chabib, Secretary General of the Moroccan Pro-UN Association.
During this meeting, the organisers of the event point out that more than 300 young people and adolescents, including a large Moroccan crowd, as well as a delegation from the Alawi country itself, will lead the ceremony. There, these young people will have the opportunity to be included in the decision-making process, as well as in matters related to the political, economic, social, etc. spheres, of which they are not normally a part. Discussions will also be held on current affairs and the international agenda. During the event, the environment, cybersecurity and the whole Ukraine-Russia conflict are expected to be the most debated issues.

The Young Leaders Forum is an event that is part of "The Future We Want", an annual United Nations initiative held in New York City. It brings together more than 3,000 young leaders from 140 countries around the world to give the youngest members of society the opportunity to have their say on important international issues.
The organisers of the forum have confirmed that, in addition to these young people who will be the focus and focus of the celebration, a number of diplomats and important political figures will also attend the event. Furthermore, the participation of general commissioners from the various member states at Expo 2020 in Dubai is also confirmed.
Well-known and important organisations will also attend the forum. These include the Arab Youth Venture Foundation, an association that innovates in the Middle East on space education issues, as well as trying to find young people interested in the subject. Another is the Italian Diplomatic Academy, which is responsible for instructing and training future diplomats in the Alpine country.

As the forum is being held in Dubai and coincides with the World Expo, the first to be held in a Middle Eastern and North African country, the Moroccan delegation will visit the Moroccan pavilion, located in the Opportunity District. In this exclusive section of the Kingdom, the representatives of the Maghreb country will be able to enjoy the projects offered by the Alaouite Kingdom, which have to do above all with the sustainable future of the planet and the opportunities offered by the territory to invest in it. The pavilion is decorated to reflect the streets of the Moroccan medinas, as well as a "wast eddar" courtyard, typical of the Kingdom's streets.
Taking advantage of Morocco's diplomatic relations with some of the world's countries, the region's delegation will also enjoy other pavilions, where they will have the opportunity to learn about the plans of some territories. Among them, a visit to the United Arab Emirates pavilion, located in the Al-Forsan, which recreates the history of the country, as well as the history of all the territories that make up the nation. The Israel pavilion, which is very close to the Gulf country's pavilion and is characterised by innovation and creativity, will also play a leading role. They will also pass through the Italian pavilion, where the hall recreates the country's past, present and future and shows the nation's commitment in different socio-economic fields.
